The pump was as described. Powerful and efficient. Our previous pump was a Flotec. We had it for 25 years and never had any problems. Would definitely recommend it..our basement is 1600 sq ft.and we have a problem with condensation. This pump does the job and keeps the basement very dry.

We like this product but returned it because we need to purchase a larger one to use in a large pool.

Not Happy
Mine only worked for 5 seconds and shut off for 2 minutes. Then would kick on for another 5 seconds ect. I called their customer service and was told to return it to Walmart. Ive had them in the past from Home Depot for more money with no problems. I guess you get what you pay for.

Too high tech and unreliable
This pump cycles on and off even in perfect conditions with plenty of water and no hose on the outlet side. No restrictions or blockage on the intake. I've tried everything I can think of to make this pump happy and get it to pump continuously and it simply will not. I don't recommend that you buy this model they've tried to make it to scientific and sophisticated. Buy a pump that has no electronics in it and just a plane mechanical float switch. Simple is better!
