I like using this type of iron it stays in your tank just enough for your plants to use the iron and then dissipates quickly usually within the hour. if you do a test 15 minutes after using it you have plenty of iron 1 hour later is completely gone since the plants use it fast . you never have to worry about it building up too much and constantly testing.

Seachem Iron keeps plants green and growing.
I have used Seachem Iron for years in my tank that has Amazon Sword plants and have had no problems with them getting yellow leaves from lack of Iron. I use it along with Seachem Flourish and Trace in my 55-gallon tank that has about 7 Sword plants.

When your plants are yellowing make sure to add some of this iron. Plants noyce back within 24 hours! Great stuff!
