Flowclear Polysphere Pool Filtration Balls

If you have a sand filter, get these. These are a complete game changer. My pool has never been so clear! We have very hard water with lots of metals and minerals and it took that right out.

We are repeat buyers on these and continue to have great success with these reusing them for a full year without needing to replace them. They were out of stock for the longest time, so when they came back in at the same $12 price we bought two more. They work great not only in the pool filter for the circulation pump but also the pool electronic vacuum. They catch so much more than other similar pool balls.

At first I was skeptical that the small filtration balls would work as well as pool sand. However, I liked the idea of needing a less amount than sand, while being more effective. To my surprise, these are more effective. I feel like my water is staying clearer while needing to backwash less often.

these things worked. I was skeptical, but I am a believer now. Our pool was cloudy and green. I tried chemicals, I changed the sand in the sand filter. It kept getting greener and cloudier (more cloudy?). It was bad. In desperation, I bought three boxes of these filtration balls and went to work. I dumped out the sand (which I think was really play sand, and mislabelled). I put in two boxes of these filtration balls, in place of the 50 pounds of sand we normally use. I left the pump on for 24 hours, it was clearing the pool water! I vacuumed the pool bottom, then let it run the next 24 hours, the green was gone! Vacuumed again, ( I had used a flocculent to try to clear the water and now it was settling at the bottom). The next 24 hours, the water was clean, just a little cloudy. I am going to use clarifier and see if that helps the slight cloudiness. For the first time in a month to six weeks, I can see the bottom of the pool!

I owned a pool years ago but with well water it was extremely hard to keep the water clean, so I got rid of the pool for this reason. Recently I purchased another pool and decided to upgrade to a sand filter and I used these polysphere balls, my water has been crystal clear from day one. Where as before i pretty much had to clean the paper filter daily, with the balls you can go a month or so without cleaning them, just throw them in the washer and your done.

These pool filtration balls are great for my small 365 gallon pool. Combined with a 1/6 h.p. utility pump and a couple of hoses, these are placed in a 4 gal bucket with lid and provide excellent filtration. The utility pump doubles as a pool vac. YouTube has plenty of videos demonstrating how to build a small pool filtration system.

These filterballs were one of the best tank upgrades. Replacing the sand in my intex 16" tank with these balls caused my tank pressure to drop tremendously.

I didn't expect them to work, we have hard water with a lot of iron in it. In 2 days my pool was clear, I did have to clean the twice but so worth it!

Worked great with the flowclear pump I bought. Only had to clean the balls 3-4 times all summer. Great way to save money.

I used this product in my 18" Power Steel pool all summer and loved it! My pool stayed amazingly clear and clean even through the really hot days. So easy to use, no need to backwash just replace now and then. No grit in the pool! I tried to wash mine and reuse but not such a good idea.
