Assembled Well, Good Tone, Happy Customer
I threw a pair of these 70 series mufflers on a 2-ton road tractor, and after a thousand miles of service, no regrets. Putting up with the heat and vibrations of a gasoline truck tipping the scales at 25.5k#, they've met my expectations. Compared with a previous pair of 40-series on a 454, these 70-series are indeed quieter in the cab, at idle, at part throttle, and at WOT. Only issue was the shipping agent goofed; cost me 3 more days down-time, and one inlet nipple was whanged & took ~5 minutes of hammer & dolly work to bring back into round for assembly/fitment.

great muffler, low noise
I've used this muffler on a few different trucks over the years, and it's held up well, it is one of the quietest flowmasters which is great because you still get that famous sound but it's quiet enough for everyday use when you still want comfort.
