Fast shipping. Great product
I’ve driven many loud sports cars in my time like Corvettes, Mustangs, Hellcats and more. All things considered Ram doesn’t do a good job of making their ram 1500 sound too good from the factory. I mean a 5.7L hemi ram is suppose to sound like a V8 not a V6 midsize truck. So just about any help would make it sound better than stock does. All things taken into account this system is less than $300 bucks you get a great sound out of this v8 hemi. Awesome when you get on the gas and quiet enough when you’re cruise around doing daily driving. Not to mention awesome cold starts. No brainer, it’s a quality exhaust for a bargain. Even with the $120 it cost for the shop to install it, that’s still only $400 which is only 1/3rd of the cost of a lot of the top exhaust systems.
The hot looking 2019 Ram Laramie was just too quiet. I put the Flowmaster Outlaw on in 15 minutes. Now my Ram sounds like a truck! I read reviews that mentioned a “drone” in the cab because of Ram’s noise canceling system. I haven’t experienced any of this.
For starters, I'm no mechanic. I was a little nervous at first to cut on the stock exhaust. Turned out to be super simple. I can't say that I can compare it to a full exhaust system. However, for the price, this gave me all the growl in the world without the horrible pop you hear on alot of trucks. When you get on it, folks notice. When you're cruising, you can barely tell it's there. I left the stock resonators on and it still sounds good. Thought about doing the delete on the resonators, but I'm happy the way it is. Would recommend you try it first spending just the $300ish for the muffler. You can always come back and delete the resonators if you want even more growl I guess or so I've heard. But for me, happy the way it is.
Product arrived in less than two days. Installation was extremely easy, simply make one cut with the sawzall and remove two bolts. The new exhaust was deep and raspy at first, but after a few hundred miles it has really become the perfect deep rumble. Hardly any drone in the cabin at cruising speeds but can absolutely be heard when you mash the gas. Here is a sound clip immediately after install: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ur5B6ixF2ds&t=12s
I was worried that it would sound "cheap" or muffled.. this makes my 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Hemi V8 sound so good. Its a "beefy" yet clean sound.. definitely recommend
My exhaust came in really quickly and the install was super smooth. I had the truck in the air and back on the ground in under an hour. The outlaw series gave my ride the rumble I was looking for
Easy installation only took about 30 min. fits great in factory location and added a nice not to aggressive sound to the truck.
Took about 30 minutes to swap this out. Great directions. Aggressive is an understatement!!!
Bought it about a month ago for my 2020 Ram. And I really like the small light size, it was easy to handle & install. Just isn’t Loud enough for me. Sometimes I think it is, but overall I think I would’ve like something a little more aggressive. Had a Super 10 on my 2016 Ram, and probably should’ve stuck with that. But it’s a nice muffler. Decent sound and decent growl..definitely moderately aggressive.
