Classic Flowmaster Sound
I put this on my 1996 F150 with the Jegs offroad y-pipe and so far, so good. It's loud and sounds a lot like the old 40 series I used to run on all of my old fox body Mustangs. I have nothing to compare it to on my pickup so I can't say if there's a discernible difference between this super 44 and a regular 40 series. The 302 in my pickup is stock and it still has that "truck sound" ever so slightly which I can't stand, but I attribute the difference between my truck and my Mustangs to the different cams, and the fact that the truck has single vs the true dual exhaust that Stangs have. At any rate, If you like that classic Flowmaster sound, you'll enjoy this muffler. I have it attached to my stock tailpipe so everything looks completely stock, which is my favorite part.
