I ordered this acrylic platter to enhance my Fluance RT83, replacing the original rubber mat. I am very pleased with both the appearance and the sound qualities it imparts on my vinyl records-this was a good purchase.

I upgraded my original rubber mat on my RT82 with this acrylic mat because I didn't want to spend $120 more for the full acrylic platter. I can hear the difference in the sound so I feel like it was $30 well spent

Live in Maine. Lots of static during winter. Changed from the rubber to this awesome accessory I recommend to anyone who is getting pops and static. It will reduce that. I have the fluance t-81. Works great now to upgrade the cartridge.

Changed from a rubber mat to this on my Fluance RT81 and it definitely makes a difference. Best I can describe is that it gives a warmer sound. And it looks awesome.

I did not expect the degree of improvement I would hear from this but rumble and hum is almost gone, and sound has better definition and clarity. Best value for money upgrade you could make short of buying a superior cartridge.

Just received today. So, can't comment on what kind of sound quality it may provide. Visually speaking, the build quality of the platter seems pretty good. The frosted finish looks great. Though, IMO, the platter edge could use a little rounding rather than sharp angle. But overall seems pretty positive.

First things first; this is partly on me. I was looking for a white slip mat/plate when I bought it and did so in kind of a rush. Yes, it does say frosted, not white, but the way it looks in reality is still a bit of a letdown.I use it on my AT-LP60XUSB, and if you look at the picture, it's pretty much completely see-through. Deducting one star for that, given that it's bright white in all of the pictures without any indication of the example products using some sort of extra gear that makes it appear more white than it is.Deducted the second star because of the packaging. Literally just a paper bag without any padding inside to prevent shipping damage. Granted mine was fine, but for a 50$ product, that's a bit disappointingStill, it behaves as advertised, being anti-static & reducing vibration, so in that regard, it's good.

It actually has made an audible difference to the sound of my Fluance RT81. It sounded great already, now even better. Not well finished however. The hole is slightly too big and it's a bit marked. But for these it would be 5 stars.
