I am 75 years old and have had many quality turntables over the years. I purchased the RT81 and wow this is a great buy. It was super easy to assenble from the shipping box and plays like a charm. For the price this is terrific unit.

Excellent product for the price. Quality is great and looks good. Assembly, for the most part is easy except for balancing the arm. This will take a bit more time, especially if your a novice as fine adjustments on the counterweight at the back is somewhat more challenging as the needle height is very sensitive to small adjustments to the counterweight. Delivery was excellent, having received the turntable in less than 3 days. The product was well packaged with no issues or missing parts. After assembly, I let the run for 24 hours as suggested for the 'break-in' period. It's hooked up to my compact stereo and the quality and clarity of the sound is excellent! No static noises, no humming or anything like that. I have not played my albums in years and it is great to listen to then again. Just one thing, I need to use the built in pre-amp when hook it up to play through my compact stereo. With this set-up, I lose a part of the normal stereo volume when crank it up. Because of this, I will be hooking it up to an external pre-amp which I will soon purchase. I don't think this will be an issue if you use the built in pre-amp to play directly through to speakers.

I took a shot at the Fluance turntable after looking at the audio technica comparable item. I was looking for a turntable that was fully manual, but also wasn't a piece of junk. This turntable seemed to fit the mold and I am very pleased with the purchase hook up with easy, sound quality is great, and frankly the turntable looks awesome. I'm happy I made the purchase and would highly recommend.

This turntable meets all my needs! It was so easy to setup and get going. Have it paired with Fluance Ai 41 powered speakers. Great sound overall very pleased!

The first thing I noticed was how heavy it is. It is extremely solid and well made. The finish is impeccable. Hooked up easily to my powered speakers. Missed the warm sound of vinyl!

Use caution due to after you purchase the turntable if ANYTHING goes wrong with it you will be responsible for returning it to the manufacturer. Also beware of their very strict return packaging policy
