I use a netting on top of my pool cover. When I remove the netting, the big debris comes off with the netting. I then used this pump on my cover, and it removed a substantial amount of water in a very short period of time. I attached a 4' hose to the pump, and the pressure was so intense, it reminded me of a fire hose that got loose. I had to switch to a standard length hose. It is awesome!
Works very well. I used the pump to pump water from my pond to water the lawn. The only thing bad is I had to move sprinkler from time to time to get a good coverage of yard. The 3/4 hp did the job. I'm guessing pushed the water uphill about 15 to 20 feet. would buy again for sure.
Used it to empty the remaining 4" of my 9k gallon pool and worked better than expected for the price. Also, liked the assortment of adapters it came with and "check valve" gasket. Will make cleaning and emptying pool out way easier than scooping out with bucket.
This is a nice working small electric pump.I pump the local creek to water my garden and it works very well.It lifts very much, very many feet.I'm not sure maybe 2025 and it works very well. The only drawback I see is it's got plastic fittings on it.So I got a small ten inch piece of garden hose , and I leave it connected to the plastic fitting on the pump and then connect the other side of that hose to my garden hose.So I don't keep cutting the threads on the plastic on the pump.I do recommend it and I like it very much
I used the pump to empty out a cistern that I needed to de-leave. Pumped it out to 1/4 inches. Scooped out the leaves. Rinsed and repeated. Clean cistern now
Had used water bugs over the last two seasons. Each water bug cost over $120. This has over twice the power and it showed. Even if it only lasted a year or two it's well worth it at the price point versus a Wayne.
Our recent extreme weather and excessive rain has been a nightmare. Water under and around my old farmhouse has always been a problem. We had an older less effective pump. I purchased this on knowing the storm was coming. It did a great job. Easy to attach hose runs quietly and drains water quickly. A lifesaver.
product appeared to be well built, but after using it twice on concrete floor that had two inches of water pump removed water for about five minutes and then wate pump to walmart.r was being ejected from bottom of pump. a rubber gasket was partially sticking from pump.. one of two gaskets had spilt and water was coming from bottom of pump. bottom plate of pump does not fit tight to pump. returning
when I finally got it together because the instructions are anything but clear it didn't work it turned on it sounded like it wanted to work but it it did not do its job
Stopped working after 2hrs first use. Now popping GFCI circuit. When plugged into alternate circuit, hums with power but doesn't discharge water. Email sent to manufacturer per Owner's Manual. Awaiting response.
