My fiance has a compulsion to pick his body/face hair and this toy has FIXED IT COMPLETELY. This toy has solved a 7 year OCD compulsion and brought him SO much healing and joy. PLEASE NEVER STOP MAKING THIS TOY
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is obsessed with Axolotl's so he jumped to joy when he saw this. Plus it's a great sensory type toy too. Esp if you have a kiddo who likes to pick. What you do is pick all the outside fluff off to reveal its true color. This one is pink on the outside and white once you pick all the pink off. All the pink you can put in the case the Axolotl came in. It is a tad hard to pick off and is a little time consuming but that makes it worth it even more for us.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I didn't understand what was special about this stuffed animal until I watched a video. How cool was this!??? My ADHD/ASD kids were excited to reveal the axolotl. It was a fun race to pick all the pink fluff which revealed a blue axolotl. The pink fluff was stuffed back into the plastic body pouch for extra squish fun. So satisfying to do with my kids. Now we want them all! Highly recommended for sensory processing fun.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this last week and I just think it's a genius idea. My daughter loves stuffed animals but will typically get bored with them after a couple days but not with this one. I didn't tell her right away that you pull the hair off to reveal a different colored stuffed animal right away. So she got to enjoy the panda then I played a game with her and she figured out the idea and had an absolute blast getting the hair off to reveal what was underneath. She loves it even more now I think. Also I think it was a huge bonus to keep the fluff and put it on the bag provided and use it as an additional toy kinda like a squishy. So all in all great toy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids loved the look of our collectible ice cream fluffie stuffiez in the reusable packaging. The fluff is soft to touch, but my children found it a bit difficult and tiresome to pull off the outer layer and reveal the friend underneath. I ended up doing most of the fluff pulling, and it was a messy endeavor. My kids enjoyed the reveal of the cute face in the bottom layer of our ice cream toy when the outer layer of fluff was removed. They have not had any interest in stuffing the toy back into the packaging for further play, but the packaging is adorable. Overall, fluffie stuffiez are sweet stuffed toys, but prepare for the mess from the outer layer of fluff removal.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This axolotl is super cute and soft. And the concept of removing its outer layer of fluff to reveal a different color and to see its little face is a great idea. But for my kids it just took too long to remove the fur. I tried it myself, and it's just not as satisfying as I thought it would be. It's kind of hard to remove -- a super slow process. Older kids might be okay with that since it makes it last longer, but my 5 year old and 9 year old lost interest pretty quickly. In fact, I think they plan on leaving it partially plucked. I'll just have to vacuum up the fur trail that it leaves behind on the carpet and in bed. It just missed the mark at our house, but it truly is a neat idea.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was excited to open her surprise toy. She said, “ Oh mommy… I saw this on YouTube.” She already knew what to do with it. She started pulling away at it and got tired, so she gave it to me to help her out. I started pulling away at it and got tired too… lol. We were back and forth trying to get this done. It's messy and it doesn't even look cute.
The fuzz is very messy, it got everywhere even when trying to implement an easy process. I wanted to love it because I love the MGA brand but definitely skip on this toy. My 7 year old struggled removing the fuzz and just gave up on trying to remove it.
It's 2024 and the best we can do is a stuffed animal that has the shedding equivalent to a Great Pyrenees dog. This was a disaster. Little fur pieces everywhere. Stuck to our clothes, the cabinets…..my daughter lost interest within 10 min and I was stuck cleaning up the mess. We had to vacuum or lint roll our clothes, the living room, the kitchen…. These things were everywhere. Absolutely horrible!
I bought this yesterday and I was extremely disappointed. First disppointment was when taking it out of the package it had no eyes. I wanted to keep it black and white because it was so cute but it is just a fur blob(even though your photos show eyes on it when its out of the package) 2nd disppointment was the massive mess and time it took to pluck(which would have been over looked had it not looked bad also) 3rd disappointment was that as you tug at the outter fur it rips off the underneath fur...Its a cute concept BUT has some things to iron out.
