Very easy to replace part that was needed. the Handle breaks easily though

Works as advertised, takes a little tweaking to balance the hi/lo flush amounts and the subsequent bowl refill to be efficient. Original started ghost flushing after a year, was sent an updated design unit. This unit started ghost flushing a while ago and appears to be caused by the same problem - a clear/white silicone gasket ring on the bottom of the flush control develops dimples causing it to not seal properly .... CS sent out a replacement and a spare, fixed.

From the day this dual flush was installed in our toilet I was surprised by the flimsy handle. Over the weekend the handle just broke in two during regular use. It is clearly not made to last long-term. The parts that receive regular daily use should be made of metal. Replacement handles are not available so the entire unit has to be replaced. Furthermore, the product only has a 5 year warranty and we had it installed 6 years ago... Besides the handle breaking the product has worked okay for us. We have had a few instances where the mechanical parts got hung up in the tank and I would have to remove the lid from the tank and manually jostle them to get the tank to fill or stop filling. Now that we need to buy a replacement unit I'm not sure what I should buy. I'm not keen to get the same product and replace it again in about 6 years.

Good idea poor design. We installed it in our office to test before making a recommendation to clients. I'm sure glad I did. In three months we quadrupled our water usage. The flaw seems to be that their is no prevention from the valve sticking open. Two bills later and we used 22000 gallons one month and 19000 the next bill. This is from 8500 gallons.

Terrible engineering! It doesn't seal properly so it runs several hundred gallons a day down the drain always! Also, after working with your tech support all 3 units that are installed all consistently leak by hundreds of gallons a day. Also, the adjustment for water used on the 2 separate flush capabilities need to be set to max, 12, to be functional. DO NOT BUY unless you like wasting time, water, and money!!!!

I installed the Duoflush in September of 2016...within a few months the flapper started to stick open. You did not ever dare to leave the toilet because it could run all day. When it did this I would wiggle the handle and you could hear the flapper drop. Then a week ago I had to remove the tank top and physically reach in and drop the flapper by hand, the flush handle would not drop it. So, I thought it was a problem with the water and replaced the Duoflush with a brand new unit two days ago.... The new one is also sticking open. Garbage.... DO NOT BUY unless you don't care about running water down the drain.... I installed this because our water bills are so high but running water and money down the drain with this junk is not worth it. Guess I will just return it and spend the extra 75 for a new toilet.
