fluke 179/eda2 6 piece industrial electronics multimeter combo kit

I chose the Fluke 179 over the equivalent Amprobe model, I've used Fluke multi meters for years as an active duty Marine and continue to do so as a civilian. Highly recommend.

Very little paperwork was sent with item. Direct Direct from manafacture should have a written owner's manual. NOT INCLUDED. Product box looked tampered with. Probably not going to make additional purchase from fluke.

I thought I was getting the top of the line accessory kit. It turns out that neither the 179/EDA2, nor the 179 alone come with full-sized, standard screw-on alligator clip test leads! The description states "industrial strength test lead probe kit". The test probes are only about 5" long with their own connectors; The silicone lead extensions are in the kit, but not the probes themselves. And no alligator clips. Meter stand is flimsy and does not lock like the old 87s. A current rating over 10A would be nice. Back light is nice. I expected more for over $300.
