Wasn't 100% sure when i first opened the package and the width of the lip on the tank my BP is in. However, I bent the middle just slightly, like 1/8 of an inch and it holds the screen top onto the tank extremely secure. My snake has poked her nose and bldy exploring the new lid and it never budged! Would absolutely buy again
