It works
This UV clarifier seems to work, the water in my turtle tank has definitely cleared up. Installation is simple, but the top of the filter Installation option seems a little short sighted. Fluval filter systems are one of the better ones on the market.

Worked so Good, I bought Another!
I have 60g TALL and could not keep alge from coming back no matter how many water changes. After installation my water has not been clearer, so much that I am going to purchase another for my 46 g tank

Good purchase
This UVS does indeed work well as my tank went from green to clear in 4 days. Its design is rather ideal also. I do not, however, understand why a 90° angle connection would ever be utilized when trying to create steady flow of water. That part alone is its only flaw.

This should be on every tank.
Installed on FX4 Reef tank 75 gallon. Excited to have this for years to come. Fluval makes it easy.

UV Filter for FX System
Doesn't work. I have given it 2 months and it did not work. Installed my old in-tank system and within 24 hours it cleared the algae and gave me crystal clear water. This was a 40 gallon tank with an FX 2 filter.

Received item well packed but bulb inside doesn't turn on. Had it hooked up for a few days before realizing it wasn't even illuminating. Probably something that occurred during transit but still a pain in the butt having to disconnect hoses and reconfigure shutoffs.
