They were a hit for my 12 year old Grandson at Christmas, All the other kids were wanting to try them. I might buy for my 8 yr old Grandson for his birthday also. There is a learning curve so it will teach the kids perseverance. Its great for them to learn a new skill and I like that it is a skill that does not involve a cell phone a computer or a screen! They may fall off them.... They may get a bruise.... and hopefully they will get over their frustration and then get back on Until they master the skill.

I purchased Maverick stilts for my 6 yr old grandson's birthday. He tried them out when he got home. My son said it took him a few minutes to get the hang of it but he had fun using them. My grandson has every toy you can think of. Wasn't sure what to get this yr %26 glad these were a big success !

my 10yr old loves it, it needed some balancing effort to actually enjoy walking on it..but he has started to love and enjoy using it.. its ideal, strong and looks durable for an elementary school kid, i think the weight specifications might be more for a younger kid.

This gift was a huge hit with my boys. It caused so many laughs! We have their pogo stick too, so this was a fun addition and a great way to get outside. I like that it's adjustable and our kids ages 6-9 are all able to do it, even their dad gave it a try. A little bit of a learning curve, but surprisingly stable with come to able grips and a large foot pad surface
