Great sound the remote may be difficult to understand but you can use the am and fm radio without it I would rather have it than a Bose wave radio the money I saved buys many more nice things
worth every penny and then some. the remote is a bit small, but the sound is huge. needed to replace my Bose Wave system that gave out, this matches in every way.
excellent sound good buy good price easy set up
With the sound quality of a Bose radio at 1/4 the cost, this stereo was my obvious choice. Bluetooth offers choice of Android or Apple compatibility. prpblems? Just one: Sangean makes too many identical models, and differences are subtle. You really have to do your homework before you buy!
Great acoustics for our "Kitchen" radio/Bluetooth.
I have owned this Sangean radio for just a few days. So far, I am impressed. I live in an area with no FM stations nearby that are worth listening to. Thankfully, this Sangeon with its small external string antenna is able to bring in the distant (35 miles?) stations I do want to hear. The internal antenna nearly does the trick, but, for best reception, I do have drap the external antenna around the table the radio sits on. Since the stations are distant, For best reception I need to turn off the stereo each time I tune in a station. I wish that I could elect monaural as the default. Additionally, I wish that I could extend the period that radio stays on after it goes on as the alarm. In every other aspect, this radio and its Bluetooth access is a good value. Incidentally, Amazon may have the radio for a lower price, but I prefer to get it from Walmart.com and have it delivered free to my local store where I am able to return it if it doesn't meet expectations.
Great radio, excellent sound.
Great value. Excellent sound. love the Bluetooth feature, remote control, nap feature. An expensive radio, but worth every penny.
Did not want to spend the big money on a Bose. Read the reviews of this radio before buying. It did not disappoint. If fills my great room with music that sounds very good. Especially when considering its size.
I purchased this to use as a clock radio. I have other sangean products that I like very much. The problems I found with the WR-22 unit were several: Even at its brightest setting, the display of time, alarm choice (radio station), %26 etc. cannot be read due to the fact that the illuminated brand name “Sangean” and the illuminated push buttons are so much brighter than the time/station/alam display. There is no way to adjust the brightness of the brand name and buttons. If the unit was placed on a bedside table, it would be possible to read the time %26 etc., but the brightly lighted brand name and illuminated tiny push buttons interfere with sleep. If the unit is placed at a distance of 8 feet, say on top of a dresser, the bright lights wash out the display which is relatively faint even on its brightest setting. In addition, the lengthy and detailed instructions for setting the day, date, time, alarm choice, frequency of alarm - require too many steps and require starting over if a mistake is made during the lengthy programing ritual. If you want an alarm to sound on one day, but not the next, there is no clear way for the user to easily select to use an alarm one day and not the next. The Sangean WR-22 is grossly over complicated and useless for its primary function. The radio itself has good tone and volume. I fear the designers had “room on the chip” to load “features” which detract from the ease of use and functionality of this unit
