Fo Ti by Paradise Herbs - 60 Capsules

Many brands don't use use traditionally prepared Fo-ti root, this brand does! It's a concentration is strong enough where you don't have to take lots of pills to be effective. I am using 2 a day, mostly for anti-aging and helping with insomnia and blood sugar. I trust Paradise brand quality, will continue to use them if they have the herbs I'm looking for, as a bonus I like that Paradise sticks to one ingredient - the herb on the label, no fillers, binders, or other unnecessary stuff!

40 year old active male. This is the third Fo-Ti product I've tried in the last 5-6 years, but I hadn't taken any for a year prior to starting this. I mainly wanted to increase energy levels, maintain youthful hair and skin, and stimulate focus and energies for spiritual exploration. I have taken one every morning for the last 2 months and have gotten all of that. Unlike the other products which produced energetic highs and lows, and sometimes an overwhelming sexual drive ("need sex NOW" feeling out of nowhere), the effects of this one are subtle. I haven't had an overwhelming sexual drive, just a subtle increase in interest and energy for it. My hair looks better for sure, the thinning on top is less noticeable. Skin looks healthy and shiny. Easier to get into altered states of consciousness in meditation. I'm ordering again.

I bought because I done research that it helps with stopping pattered baldness and regrowing hair.. This is exactly what has been happening to me for the past 4 months I've been taking it!! Hair, ALL OVER MY BODY, is growing in thick and full and what patterned baldness, I can now say!! Research for yourself and find even more benefits from this.

not quite as good as dragon herbs, but a close second, I am unable to figure out why this is a higher concentrate, but seems to me at least to not be quite as effective, I have to buy this when the price fluctuates to much on the DH. Paradise herbs product is 1 a day, thus lasting 2 months, DH doesn't last 5 mins if you were to take the recommended "3 capsules twice a day" even though there are 100 capsules. The other upside's of paradise herbs is the concentrate is 16:1! vs DH at 8:1, and finally, this one has NOTHING else added to it, where as the DH product has: Rice powder, Bamboo extract powder, Calcium stearate DH has quite a sweet taste, (I always open the capsules instead of swallowing) I recommend this if you prefer a no fillers product, and want a good quality product for a cheaper price.

I have only been taking this for a while and I notice only a little effect. I think it has melanin and may affect eye and hair color a bit.

I wanted to put a good review but it seems this formulation of HSW causes gastrointestinal issues for me. The dragonherbs HSW also did the same so it may be that HSW in general is not something I personally can tolerate. This is therefore just to note for people who have not tried HSW before. This is a potential side effect.

I bought Paradise fo-ti in the past and the capsules were quite dark, almost black. This latest order of June 2019, in a slightly redesigned label, are medium brown. Perhaps they are not as strong, ie, as concentrated, in spite of the claims made. It has occurred to me that they are not using the same quantity of black beans in the processing. The traditional practice is to steam the herb with black beans for 24 hours. FWIW. Now for the good news: even though the color of the herb is lighter, it functions well to raise my blood sugar in the morning. Not everyone needs this kind of help, but I do. So, for me, this is a great benefit of this herb capsule in addition to being an overall tonic.

I've only been taking this for 6 weeks and I don't believe that is long enough to determine if it is doing what I hope it will do. Having said that, I have not experienced any side effects from it. In fact, I don't "feel" anything from it, which is a good thing.

What can I say! I can really tell that it is a very concentrated extract, and I have tried many: its taste is very strong, and the color is dark brown. This is the only brand that worked with the falling hair in my case. It is not cheap at all: for this price I expected the best, and I think it is the best. The fact that it is without fillers makes it even better. News: I took 2 a day and it was too much for me...
