I like this air popcorn popper very much. It is very easy to use. It is heated air only. No oil. So it stays clean on its own. I use the white kernel popcorn variety. As I understand it the white kernel popcorn has a thinner hull than the yellow kernel variety. I think the white kernel variety works better and tastes better and it does not cost any more than the yellow kernel variety. I use a plastic Halloween candy bowl to catch the popped popcorn. I hold the bowl under the chute and rotate it during the popping process. The popped popcorn comes out in a flow and then when only a few kernels remain in the machine they start flying out. And when that happens I turn the machine off. The popcorn from this machine tastes good and has a good quality to the popped kernels. As always be careful about partially popped kernels of which there will be a few. Partially popped kernels pose risk to break a tooth if you bite down on them.

It does get pretty hot ,children should be supervised when using this machine. The short spout allows the hot kernels to fly out( careful picking them up) but overall its fast, and easy to use. Love the butter cup!

The reason for only 4 stars ... The opening the popcorn shoots out is very large and not angled enough down towards the bowl. . Even with a very big bowl, at the end I had some kernels popping straight out, missing bowl. Otherwise, good value, easy to use %26 most kernels popped (there's always a few that don't no matter what brand you purchase.

with air coming up from the popper instead of circular air motion, when the corn pops, it sends unpopped kennels into the bowl which don't pop at all, or pop in the bowl causing popcorn to go all over the place. prefer the heater with circular airflow.

Works good. Pops well. No issues other than when it gets down to the last of the kernels it spits them out and they go everywhere, extra cleanup is needed.

While this is affordable, compact and easy to use, kernels and popcorn fly out everywhere even though I have a tall, deep, and large container around the spout. I do not recommend unless you don't mind sweeping and searching after every use.

I was excited to get this item and make my first bowl of popcorn. After starting the popper, hot kernels started hopping out the front. When the popcorn was done, I turned it off, but the popcorn kept popping and hot kernels of popcorn were still coming out of the popper. Then I saw popcorn popping out of the bowl. Because the front spout isn't long enough, I had popcorn on the floor and on my table. Those hot kernels flew out and hit my legs. It hurt. At first, I laughed and cleaned up the mess. I'm still finding popcorn in my little baskets!! I will recommend that nobody should buy this. The price was right, but not for the amount of times hot kernels burned my hands and legs. I received a new popper today and I'm putting the other one in the garbage.

This is a get what you pay for item for sure. The kernels shoot out all over the place un-popped. It makes a big mess all over and is very frustrating. I will be tossing it out, because I wouldn't even give to another person to stress out over.

It takes forever for the. Kernels to pop and it needs a shield in the front due to when the kernels pop the popcorn flies out of it and misses the bowl and goes on the floor
