Great for low impact exercising!

Dave500 September 23, 2020

Overall, I really like these Athletic Works Mini-Loop exercise bands. I'm a tall guy, weigh about 180, and they are the right size. I think most people would benefit from using them. I put them around my knees while watching TV or reading, and exercise my thighs in comfort. I've tried all 3, and have chosen to start with the light tension, and slowly work toward the heavy tension. I also use them on my arms and even my feet. They are the right size for most people, although they may be small for very overweight people. I've tried other workout bands, but like these the best due to their compact size. They also are of high quality and should last a long time.

Nice

DrHaneghan September 23, 2020

I enjoy using these because i have sciatica, and these help me build my core strength. They're easy to use and i can just sit there and use them while watching tv.

These are great!!!

Nicole123 September 19, 2020

These bands are great! Color-coded and also say what level they are. Light, medium, heavy. The instructions say that you can wash with mild soap and leave to dry, that's nice to know that these are washable. They are smaller in thickness than other ones I have seen. The light band is actually pretty hard so it's nice to know you can start with the lowest and work your way up to heavy. It's cool to see improvement in that way. I also enjoy the colors!

Great for home physical therapy

SecretSquirrel January 9, 2021

Great resistance bands. These come in a box with individual plastic bags inside so I can store them between using them. It makes it nice so they don't get tossed around the room. Also, the box states the resistance of each band, so keeping them in the box is helpful. They seem to be very durable. I am using these for physical therapy at home and am starting on the lowest resistance, so they'll work for some time to come.

Great for stretching

BLS72 September 27, 2020

I recieved the Athletic Works Mini Loop Band, Set of 3. The bands are great for stretching and working out. The 3 different bands give you a different resistance. One is light and easy, the second one is a little more difficult, and the third is for someone who is not just starting out. The bands are made well and don't slip when I use them. I can use all 3 with ease with my legs and arms. I would recommend these even if you only use them to stretch

Great reformer!

Amy August 21, 2026

I am an intermediate/advanced user, so I already have a reformer (not a nice professionsal one though!) but the footbar on my old one only has one position and there's no squishy platform , so I got this reformer to try out and because I'm desperate for a footbar with different positions and a comfortable platform. I used this machine for a month to compare it to my current reformer before writing my final review. PROS: - lightweight - beautiful color - adjustable cord lengths - four footbar positions - hand and feet straps are comfy - jumpboard function works safely when doing jumpboard workouts - folds upright for storage - two shoulder block positions. This is great for me because I'm 5'2" and I can bring in the shoulder blocks closer for planking and stretching with the footbar. - worked great with my box that I already have - the pulleys roll smoothly and move 360° with the ropes moving positions - LOTS of different resistance options CONS: - platform came with one pole broken. I fixed this with E6000 glue. - platform and jumpboard can't be on reformer at the same time. - the springs are loud and make popping sounds, so don't use the springs when others are sleeping. - headboard cannot be adjusted up or down. It's just one position. Overall, I recommend this reformer.

No variety of exercises?

Chris October 7, 2020

The color coding is nice. I was severely disappointed that there were no additional suggestions on how to use these bands besides the image on the outside of the box. The included flyer on care and tips is adequate as to care and general exercise tips. However nothing is mentioned as to types of exercises.

Save your shoulders! Also, a warning…

T April 16, 2024

It was hard to find smaller closed loop bands for the exercises I needed. I'm a 6ft tall man, but I needed smaller bands for a shoulder rehabilitation exercise and they work great! In our modern world, a lot of damage can be done over time by bending our neck to look at phones, computers, countertops, etc. Sliwly I had found that my shoulders were rotating forward and causing neck, upper back pain, even beginning to affect the way I stand. The corrective exercise is simple, but you must commit to doing it at least a few times a day. I could tell a difference almost immediately. I stand or sit with the band looped around my arms, near my wrist, palms up. I pin my elbows to my sides and SLOWLY push my hands outward while keeping my elbows in place, making sure I focus on stretching and engaging the upper part of the back of my arm. When I feel a stretch (I don't strain, it should feel challenging, but still natural and controlled) I slowly bring my hands back to the start. Retraining these muscles works fairly fast if they are under utilized. My only issue is the product comes with a cancer warning due to the materials, which I inside is because of possible toxicity in the rubber. I make sure to wash my hands after using and do not touch my face, etc. I never leave reviews but I couldn't find any rows addressing my specific needs and I just hope to help somebody out if they're struggling in the same way. Be patient, you got this! 💪

Rolls :(

Kammie February 3, 2021

While these do seem fine for your skin, they rolled up on me which is very uncomfortable and makes them unusable for leg/booty workouts. I'm a size 12 jeans, so I have thick thighs but I'm not huge, but too big to use these bands since they won't stop rolling up on themselves. Also they came with no instructions for use, so be wary if your looking for a basic workout guide with your equipment.
