The sides are not inflatable, it's just folded and the top round is inflatable, which is nice. I had something like this before and I like it more than inflatable because it's easier to deflate or to get in and out. It didn't take much to set it up at all. The top shade just popped out as I untied the tie. I think the shade is pretty small so I don't know if kids will like it but it will stop mosquitos. The picture is my 3 years old inside. I think more than 2 kids might be a little too crowded. I hope this helps.
What i was wanting with this pool was something small and quick i could set up right outside my garage in the front of my house because my kids are always out there playing when im trying to garden. This is perfect. My toddlers are 3 and 5 and it isnt too big so i can easily move it in and out of my garage and cover it when they are done playing. This is great for toddlers, and for families that need a small place for their kids to play. It has plenty of shade to keep the sun off the kids. I was able to do assembly on this myself. Great summer product!
I love the canopy on this kiddie pool and also the sprinkler. I can't wait for my grandkids to have fun all summer in this pool.
