It is heavier than I anticipated. However, it has wide steps that fit the whole foot. My husband felt very safe changing the smoke detectors. We keep it in the tub of the guest bathroom so it is out of the way. The handrails do not fold down, so it makes you feel very secure.

Great product. Safe and sturdy. Handles at well anchored. I which the handles would have been collapsible for more convenient storage and that it would have had locking wheels. I am a 75 year old woman and it is heavy to carry, but a great ladder for stability. .

This is one very safe step-ladder for household use! It's very secure and easy to operate. So happy to have found it. I am a senior citizen (female), and will use it happily. Love the handy tool caddy for the top. The only suggestion to the manufacturer is to make the print and pictures in the instruction booklet larger. Thanks.

It's sturidy and I feel safe using it. Which I have used it many times. I've hung a bag at the top to hold items I plan to use. Every home needs a least one.

Our 4 step stool with handles is great for placing or retrieving items from our pantry, closet or upper cabinets! The 4 steps are more than our previous step stool had and the handles provide safety. Some assembly was required, but that was easily completed!

I'm not a very tall gal, with the handles on this ladder I feel comfortable while standing on it to change light bulbs or hang pictures or reach something on a top shelf.

The steps are large and makes the ladder very easy to climb. The ladder is very sturdy and easy to fold up for storage. It is heavy enough to be sturdy and feel safe, but not too heavy that would be a problem moving it around the room. I highly recommend if you need something platformish in ladder steps and handrails. I had never odered from Miles Kimbrall and was a little nervous about what I would receive. I can hosestly say I am very pleased in the shipping and in the product. Wouldn't hesitate to order again.

Just used the ladder yesterday and it is very sturdy! Love the safety of the handrails! A little challenging to store in my condo do to the handrails but so much more sturdy and safer to use!!!
