This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had with a third-party seller. I purchased a treadmill that was clearly falsely advertised—the product I received did not match the description or photos in the listing. It didn't perform as promised, and within the first use, it became obvious that the quality and features were not as advertised. Naturally, I reached out to the seller to initiate a return.
At first, the seller begged me to give the product “another try”, trying to talk me out of returning it. I declined and reiterated my request for return instructions. They said they would honor the return—but then delayed sending the instructions for over a week. I followed up multiple times and got vague excuses or silence.
What's worse, they claimed they had already provided “several alternatives”, which was absolutely false. I received no such alternatives and no legitimate options from them. Then, in a bizarre attempt to cover their tracks, the seller attached a generic screenshot of a call log—but it didn't show my number, didn't show any actual call details related to me, and I received zero missed calls or voicemails from them. It felt like they were just stalling, hoping I would give up.
After days of getting nowhere, I contacted Walmart customer support, and they told me the issue would be resolved within 48 hours. Walmart reached out to the seller—and the seller repeated the same misleading statements again. Another 48 hours passed, and I was still left with no return label, no refund, and no clear resolution.
This seller is clearly taking advantage of the Walmart Marketplace to sell questionable products and then delay or avoid the return process altogether. They've been dishonest, evasive, and misleading throughout the entire experience.
To be clear:
• The product was not as described.
• The seller tried to talk me out of returning it.
• They claimed to provide options that they never gave.
• They fabricated a call log with no proof of any actual contact.
• They refused to follow through, even after Walmart got involved.
• I've now spent weeks just trying to return a single item.
This is unacceptable. Walmart's platform should not support third-party sellers who act in bad faith and make it nearly impossible for customers to resolve legitimate concerns.
I'm posting this to warn other buyers: DO NOT purchase from this seller. If something goes wrong, you'll be stuck in a cycle of empty promises, misleading statements, and wasted time.
I hope Walmart takes action to hold this seller accountable. Until then, I strongly urge anyone considering a purchase from this seller to look elsewhere. You'll save yourself a lot of time, stress, and frustration.
