This is the best instant coffee I've ever had ..and the little 3 oz bottle means it is always fresh …it has a screw top lid that make opening and closing a breeze..and the small size makes for less clutter on the counter..I love the full caffeine and my wife ..she's a decaf girl ..so that way we are both campers
It's very delicious up to the last drop. I am always using decaffeinated coffee for my lunch and dinner coffee time. I was instructed to drink 2 cups of coffee daily to help my liver enzymes maintained in a normal level so I am always making sure I have a decaffeinated coffee available all the time. Price was really great bought a lot to send to my relatives back home.
I absolutely hate buying in bulk, but who can resist saving over 50 cents an ounce on coffee? The 6-pack arrived in it's own little cardboard flat with plastic film. (This just to say that the order is not just 6 bottles of coffee thrown in a box for shipping). I have a ridiculous method of mixing three different instant coffees (Folgers decaf, Taster's choice, Taster's Choice decaf) to get the exact taste I prefer at the exact amount of caffeine that I can tolerate. The Folgers adds a bit of punch to the overall taste and the extra darkness of the crystals lets me get an eyeball judgement of how homogeneous the three coffees have mixed. Others in my household just drink it because Folgers is preferred. How mundane.
this is why I Bought . from foldgees: Folgers decaf instant coffee is made using the ethyl acetate direct process, which removes caffeine from unroasted coffee beans. The chemical used is ethyl acetate, which is considered a "natural" solvent often derived from fermented sugarcane, or synthesized to be identical to compounds found in fruits like bananas and apples. the best part is the taste and the lightweight container!
Same ol', same ol', which is a good thing. Tastes like it always did. The only instant with better flavor is an Albertson's gourmet brand, though it is expensive. I do miss the flip-top cans that seem to have gotten lost when they moved to New Orleans. Screw tops are kind of screwy when you have been flipping lids for decades. I don't know if the new owners of Folger's are saving a couple pennies, or they are just into screwing instead of flipping. Beware when breaking the seal or you could have an instant coffee dust up.
My favorite decaf by far!!! Smooth, Rich Flavor! Easy! Convenient! Use in Iced Coffee with a little milk , creamer or flavorings! Take it with me when I travel!
i would never pay this much but its for my adult daughter who developed heart problems after C. Walmart refuses to stock many of their store brands at my rural Walmart, forcing the poor and disabled to pay triple for name brand. this was a treat, she just turned 21. you Walmart and Folgers should be ashamed of yourselves, literally stealing from my baby. but so long as your profits are up, we're just a number
decaffeinated instant coffee is absolutely outrageously priced. buying in bulk is the only way to save a little bit of money. Folgers decaffeinated instant coffee is absolutely disgusting. I feel terrible buying it. I add it to my charitable donation that I give to my church. people there like it. we all need to get used to the fact that buying food in America we pretty much get the cheapest of the cheap if you're buying from corporations and private equity owned companies. they certainly don't care about our health they certainly don't care about how it tastes and how little we get as long as they're getting money in their wallet. unless we all boycott private equity and these big corporations that are poisoning our food and selling a substandard food nothing's going to change.
I tried this with a single 7 oz.container before breaking into a six pack of containers. I was looking for an alternative to the more expensive instant decafs. Wel, this coffee has very high acidity so it bites without adjustment. I ended up adding up adding a pinch of potassium bicarbonate to reduce the acidity and then adding a small amount of butter to replace the missing rich crema. The result was much better than expected. While doctoring up coffee isn't for everyone, this was very easy and made the purchase usable.
Decaf Folgers (6 pack) - The product doesn't taste remotely like coffee. It's as if the coffee aroma and taste have been removed along with the caffeine. Very disappointing. I opened 2 of them to compare and there was no difference. They both had a lack of coffee taste or aroma even though it appeared normal and was untampered with as far as I could tell. That's a lot of wasted cup$!
