I prefer the rich, bold flavor of Folgers over any other coffee. It never disappoints.
I bought this seven years ago and enjoy it thoroughly! Sometimes I blend it with 2% milk, ice and cinnamon for a refreshing summer drink. Today I blended it with Starbucks Veranda blend coffee and it's delightful that way, too! I love Folgers hazelnut coffee, too! Five star rating all the way around! Renee L Smith and Sante D Smith. My favorite way to “Wakeup” in the mornings. Although I am having diffusing it in stores near me. Wish I could purchase the French Roast k-cups for when I travel.
I have been drinking french roast for years because it has such a robust and smooth taste. For the past year or so I haven't been able to find it at any of my local stores . Hopefully I can buy it online now and have it shipped to my home now. They also used to come in k-pods and thats what I would prefer but can't find them online either. Any place I can find them anywhere now ?
At age 90 I've been a coffee drinker since I was 16. Really got into it during World War II in the U. S. Navy. I like most blends, but French and Colombian are my favorites with a leaning toward French Roast. Folgers is a dependable company with a long history. It's my go to brand. I recommend this one to coffee lovers everywhere.
I got hooked on French Roast coffee, when I was working in Oakland, CA for AT&T. I first got it at a coffee shop that I passed on my way to work after I got off B.A.R.T. I stopped every day that I worked after that. Started buying it at the store so I could have it at home to.
I've been trying French Roast for about a month now and I am pretty satisfied with it. Unlike classic roast, it does not seem to leave a film on the top, so that's a plus. Don't like oily coffee. It's bold but not overpowering, just my style. The aroma is nowhere near as good as Colombian (my go-to blend), in fact I think it smells pretty bad for coffee. It also makes my breath stinkier than other Folgers roasts and leaves a sort of "fog" in the back of my mouth; the latter is not something I've experienced when I drank Colombian. Overall it's a good suggestion if you're curious about trying another blend, but I would recommend you get a smaller container first to try.
Always drink a French Roast (which I grind), so when I visited my parents they were excited to fix a cup their "new" coffee; Folgers French Roast. Didn't have the nerve to give them my real opinion, but no problem telling Folgers. The flavor was shallow and lacked a proper boldness, but was more bitter/acidic than what normally drink. When I looked at the ingredients, it listed "coffee", a sure sign of Robusta beans. (Those who are proud of their product list the species-nearly always if it is Arabica, otherwise they just call it coffee) Thinking that Dad didn't fix it right, I brewed the next pot with no improvement. I will readily admit that it was far better than their normal brew, but definitely not what I was expecting. Finally, I am aware that a good roasted Robusta, properly prepared, can taste better than a poorly roasted and brewed Arabica-but not in this case.
I am very unhappy with the delivery. I paid a delivery fee to have this delivered with all groceries ordered. Also, why was I charged twice for delivery? Not sure I will use your service again.
this Folgers can for $10 is less than half the size of a regular can. Very expensive for such a small can.
