I was pleasantly surprised when I first tasted this cheese- however, I oughtn't be- it is from this brand. I adore the smoke ked Gouda, have for years, however it was out of stock. That's why I bought this one. And Wow! I had my grilled chesse sandwiches back again- it was a pleasant childhood memory I thought I had lost. It melts oh, so nicely, too- just about right! I made some tacos too- was the perfect flaver along with the lettuce onions and tomato plus some seitan I had made. I will be buying this cheese again!

Very tasteful cheese for plant food lovers. Love the way it melts to make smooth cheese sandwiches. No cheating calories. The taste is great, no bitter after taste and just an overall satisfying additive to a great meal. Great individually to eat, also. Will keep buying this great product, and recommend it to others.

It tastes like American deli sliced cheese. Sometimes they stick a little but not bad. They should have a recommended shelf life after opening because they seem to gradually loose quality and edibility after opening like anything else but still a little longer than dairy cheese. Melts good for grilled cheese or pasta. Good on veggie burgers. I love this stuff. Doesn't irritate lactose intolerance but it can be greasy or binding if you over eat it, common sense not to do that but it is delicious enough to tempt... Very thankful for this brand cheeses.

Follow your heart American Cheese Slices is one of the best vegan cheeses. This is one my son's 2 favorite Brands of vegan sliced cheeses. This cheese melts great in grilled cheese sandwiches and taste really good. My daughter loves to use this cheese folding it and breaking it in squares to add on vegan sausage patties.

This is my absolute favorite vegan dairy, free cheese! It's the only brand and variety that I can eat. All the other vegan cheeses have one ingredient or another that I'm allergic to. I was devastated when I couldn't buy it at my local Walmart for several months. I was unhappy that I had to travel twice the distance to another grocery chain store to be able to get it. I'm so thankful that my Walmart again has it in stock!

I tried quite a few vegetarian cheeses and of all this is the sliced cheese. Let me tell you this, it doesn't melt in the microwave or hamburgerss. If you want a cheese thats is melted, you might want to try the one that's already melted that's of the same brand which is also pretty good :⁠-⁠P. This brand is excellent.

wow!! pleasantly surprised! This is a great product. I made toasted cheese sandwiches, could not tell the difference. This cheese melted beautifully, the taste was great. It also scanned risk free ! on the bad ingredient APP!! . The only complaint I have ,it's needs some wax paper to separate the slices. I had to use a thin blade to cut the slices again, it was difficult and timely. It basically was a brick of cheese again. That was why I gave it a 4 star. But I still highly recommend this cheese best one I've had.

I think this cheese taste very good. It exceeded my expectation in taste. The amount for the money could have more. The pieces of cheese could be individually wrapped. They seem to stick together. My Dr. told me to stay away from dairy. One of the 5 foods to stop if you have arthritis. I pray 🙏🏽 that this works. God bless

Making home -made vegan cheese is somewhat of a hassle at home if you don't have nut allergies because you have to soak whatever nut you use. This brand has always been one of the top two in our household. Until recently it has melted the best as well. I am unsure if they changed their formularies for ingredients but the slices no longer melt. The taste is somewhat there but its not the same as it always has been. Overall, this is a decent quality buif you however, if you are making something like a pasta dish with melted "cheese" you may opt for the shreds.

Does not taste like cheese. It doesn't really melt, either. If you like to tell your brain you're having cheese by having a yellow square that resembles cheese on your food, you're in luck! Don't eat it on its own, though. It tastes like nothing but also not good nothing, so. Also, is cheese not always gluten-free?
