I bought these to use in chocolate making, specifically candy molds that form my filled chocolates. They help to spread an even layer of chocolate up the sides of the molds. Great brushes, even better than the ones I've bought from a bakery supply store.

The large brush is good for adding gold glitter to large areas. It gives you more control than just spraying it. The smaller brushes are good for adding detail. One time I was making cupcakes for someone's son. I made little IPODs and made little Minecraft people to go on them. The small brush allowed me the ability to put the faces and other details on by painting on liquid food colors.

This has a nice assortment of brushes for pastry work, and the plastic handles are a step up from my wooden ones. Pretty color, easy to clean, and don't shed (really important!!). I'd buy another set!

The decorating brushes worked great. I knocked off two stars because the sticky stuff that held the brushes in place in the packaging was a nightmare. Could not get it off. When I used goop off to try and get the sticky stuff off, it started melting the handles. I had to throw the brushes away and will have to buy new ones.
