This is such a pretty scale! It's lightweight and easy to store and works perfectly! It comes protected from scratches with a blue protective layer that comes off easily leaving a beautiful stainless steel design! (It's a shame that there are so many reviews by people who didn't realize that the blue protective covering is removable!)

Thin and light unit. Arrived boxed and protected with foam inside a padded envelope. Two generic AAA batteries included. Unit worked well upon arrival. I compared 1 lb. and 8 oz. known weights between a higher-end Taylor brand kitchen scale and this economy "COWIN" unit. Good agreement of weights. It is light and slim. I like the stainless steel look that's why I returned the black one and ordered this one. Was surprised that the weigh plate was a pretty blue(bonus). I love the easy use and how easily you can switch the measuring units.

Just received this food weigh and scale the other day and I must say I have started my diet and doing very well with it and my scale works great. You don't realize how much over judging you do with managing your food quantity until you actually put it on a scale. I'm very glad I have a scale now and now maybe I will see some progress with my diet because it will hold me true to my actual food weighing and not guessing any longer so I will check my weight again in a week and I hope I will see a big difference. I am very excited to see my weigh in next week. Yes I am. I know it will be a hallelujah day.

It's easy to use and provides you with multiple choices. The only negative is if you are weighing something large in size (even if it's only 8 oz) you can't see the weight - it should be lower/slanted.

Checked scale when it arrived,put 3 nickles on scale and it weighed 15g, exactly what its suppose to be. Great price, satisfied with purchase.

It's the right scale, but as you can see in the photos, it came with multiple obvious scratches, and in a blue color, not silver. Disappointing - obviously a returned item that they stuck back into the box.

Scale is not accurate. Say you want to weigh 1.41oz it may say 1.38 then you put pressure on it and release it may come back 1.41 or 1.45. Do it again 1.4x. Same way throughout measuring.
