I cannot imagine cooking most kinds of meat without use of caraway seeds, whole or ground!Most cooks have not heard of it; I also add it to bread dough to produce good tasting rye bread, making fresh or smoked sausages, cooking cabbage or sauerkraut, soups. Try boiling a head of cauliflower adding a teaspoon of whole caraway seeds and salt to it.
