FoodSaver Bottle Stoppers, 3 Pack

We routinely store partially opened bottles of wine in the refrigerator. Every stopper we tried leaked: corks leaked. lever activated stoppers leaked. The Food Saver stopper is the only stopper that doesn't. We have used our original stopper for years and it still doesn't leak. We are buying more to give away as Christmas gifts.

I was shopping for a way to vacuum seal my unfinished wine not realizing that my trusty Food Saver was an option. Thankfully, I discovered it in a google search. I purchased two stoppers, and through a series of back-and-forth emails with the company, I was able to determine that the accessory hose that is attached to my FS works fine. The video they sent to me suggests vacuum sealing vinegar as well, so I will be doing that, too. So far, so good. I feel that I saved a lot of money choosing the FS-way rather than investing in expensive wine accessories.

When i purchased the stoppers, I wasnt sure how they would compare to the manual gray rubber vac seals I was using. The FoodSaver stopper seals are superior, keeping the wine fresh for at least 5 to 6 days instead of 2 to 3. It may keep it fresh longer, but the bottle is always drank by the 5 to 6 day point. :-)

I’ve tried so many products to save my 1/2 bottles of wine and always ended up vinegar until got this one! Perfect wine saver! I didn’t give 5 stars only because of the color, Se should have options for different colors and maybe fancy or funny ones, but performance A+

I use the stopper exclusively for wine. However, I never thought I needed it, because we always finish off the bottle. Then I told myself all those expensive bottles in my cellar have been there, waiting for that special occasion, and now need to get consumed. The stopper allows me to enjoy better wine and not have to consider if it will be finished off or not.

This is a great value. Keeps wine so much longer than just using stoppers, regardless of how good they are. Compares favorably to commercial products that cost significantly more. If you like wine and are getting tired of tossing out partial bottles buy this.

I bought this stoppers a month ago, it has been doing its job. but caution that for a big wine bottle you might need to vacuum twice. it lost about 10 % of the original taste after a week in room temperature but only 5 % in fridge. This stopper is useful if you repeat vacuum once or twice and the repeat use of the accessory tubing may worn out the tip. If you are a small drinker better buy a 375ml bottle of wine

They weren’t very expensive and I was just purchasing something else at the time so I ordered them, but they’re basically only useful to me for wine, and open bottles of wine generally get emptied pretty quickly so at the end of the day they’re not very practical! ;)

I purchased these bottle stoppers for different liquor bottles to keep the contents fresh. It seems it takes an inordinate amount of time to vacuum and seal with these stoppers. Then after they are applied a day or two later they release their seal. The liquor bottles I used thes on are standard size wine bottles and scotch bottles and they are not sparkling or carbonated beverages. As I said earlier I’m disappointed!
