[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family has used Foodsaver products for at least 20 years. They are my go-to appliance for storing meats and vegetables bought in quantity. Hunting and fishing for food and fun is a treat for everyone, from grandmother in the rocking chair to grandson learning to fish. Having Foodsaver helps vacuum seal the memories.

These bags are great for being able to marinade, freeze and sous vide larger cuts of meat such as an 8.5 pound pork shoulder roast, whole chicken or turkey. The gussets on the sides to allow the bag to expand allows a larger capacity and the quality of the bags are great.

These expandable rolls are amazing- you can freeze a whole casserole, in the (freezer safe only) dish! Turkey carcass to make soup later? Just dump it in there! They are fantastic. Just leave enough space at the top to fold the sides in- easy if you are patient with it- and you can freeze almost anything

I bought these a couple of weeks ago thinking I would only be using them for really large items. I found they work great for odd shaped things as well - I have found that in addition to large things like casseroles or roasts, these bags work well on baked goods. Love Foodsaver!

I make up recipes in parchment lined casserole dishes, freeze them overnight, then lift the parchment and food out of the dish and seal in the expandable roll and pop back in the freezer. Keeps beautifully without ice crystals or freezer burn. When ready to use, just pop the frozen food and parchment in the original dish and bake away.

I bought this expandable roll to cure bacon. Instead of 2gal zip lock bags, vacuum sealing should reduce the amount of time to cure my bacon

If you bought a turkey on sale and want to keep it for longer than you trust the packaging it came in, this is the product! Large roasts/ No problem. Seals well and keeps as well as all of their other products!

This is the first time I used expandable bags. I had frozen some regular sized loaves of bread in preparation for vacuum packing them. This size worked nicely for two loaves.

Great to use to free foods for later use

The bags are too expensive. They rarely hold up for a second use. That said, I am not aware of a alternative.
