Really Works!

DaniShu July 13, 2020

I want to say firstly I was very skeptical about this boot and shoe stretching spray. But over the past 3 weeks I've used it on 2 pairs of shoes. I have wide feet and a lot of times I can't find the "cute shoes" in a size for me. I had a pair of leather boots I bought on clearance knowing were not wide but hoping they would fit. They did not and I almost gave them away but this shoe stretching spray saved the day. It does have a stronger smell so the 2nd time I used it I did so sparingly and walked around my house for a couple days with thick socks on. It has made them now fit comfortably.

Really helps stretch shoes

Cass June 10, 2020

Foot Matters shoe stretch works great. I was not completely convinced the product would help stretch my shoes but it worked great. If the shoes are just a little tight around the toes they stretch easily the first time. With a pair that is very tight it can take multiple times of spraying and wearing to stretch. This product is excellent and I would recommend. I am happy to know I have this product for new boots when it is winter time.

Hat Stretching.

James December 15, 2025

Well, I must confess. I didn't use it on shoes. I used it on a Kangaroo skin hat that shrunk. I also purchased a hat stretcher. Worked out well. Highly recommend.

I had to use this more than once, due to how much I needed my shoes stretch. I used this along with a shoe stretcher to speed up the process. Easy to apply

Easy to use, Works well, Stinks!

I bought a pair of Merrell shoes a wile ago and I didn't realize they were 1/2 size too small. I couldn't wear them for more than a couple of hours before they hurt my feet. The shoes are over $100.00 and they are very durable. I found this stuff while looking for some "shoe stretchers" so I thought I would give it a try. I used this stuff with the shoe stretchers I purchased and it worked well. The shoes fit better, but I need to use it some more It worked well the first time. (I just didn't stretch them enough), but the instructions say that depending on the shoes, it might take a second use. It is an alcohol based product so you should use it in a well ventilated area because of the smell. Its easy to use, you just spray it on and wear an extra pair of socks wile wearing the shoes or use a stretcher.

It works!

I'm not going to lie, I had my doubts about this product. How can a spray that's applied externally to my shoes, change the way they fit? Well, I don't know how it works, but it did. I was really nervous about applying this spray to my buttery soft leather shoes. I bought these shoes and thought they would fit great based on reviews, they ended up being way too tight for my chubby toes. I figured I had nothing to lose because I have already tried wearing multiple pairs of socks and warming up the leather with a blow dryer and it didn't work. I've also used stuffed my shoes with multiple socks to try and loosen them up. Nothing worked until I used this professional boot and shoe leather stretch. It smells like mild rubbing alcohol. I thoroughly saturated the toe box of my shoes with this spray and then wore the shoes around my house making sure to put a lot of pressure in my toes (literally standing on my toes). After they dried, I noticed a bit of a difference, they felt a tad more comfortable. I repeated the process and when the shoes dried the second time, I felt a noticeable difference. My toes no longer hurt! I won't be wearing these shoes for long walks any time soon, but I can actually wear them now. Yay! I'm ecstatic to try this spray on my other tight-fitting shoes and boots. The best part, there was no damage or color changes once the shoes dried.

This stuff really works!

I received the Foot Matters Professional Grade Shoe Stretch Spray to review. I was really excited to try this out as I have a pair of Ralph Lauren Riding boots I haven't been able to wear because they are a size 7 and I'm a size 8-8.5. They have just been sitting in their box, brand new. I decided what the heck, maybe this spray will stretch them out enough to where I can wear them! So I got the boots out, unzipped them on the sides, and sprayed them inside and outside all over, making sure to coat every square inch evenly. I then rubbed the solution all over and put them on to wear them for awhile. Almost immediately I felt a difference, the fit wasn't as snug as it was before and I'm actually wearing socks too! I am currently wearing them right now and they are still loose around all of the areas that were snug. I'm still feeling it right around the outside toe area but the good thing about this Shoe Stretch you can keep re-applying until you reach the fit you're looking for. So far I have used about half of the 4oz bottle so I'm assuming I won't need much more to reach my desired fit with about %25 percent left over for another pair of shoes. I only had to use a lot because these boots come right below my knee so there is more surface area to cover. Fair warning- the spray itself isn't that pleasant and made me cough a little so I would suggest spraying whatever you have in a well-ventilated area. Otherwise I think this stuff is amazing and it really works! It didn't damage any of the leather on my $200 boots, didn't leave any water marks on the light brown leather part. I'm very pleased and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stretch their shoes in a safe and easy manner.

Not recommended from me.

Lynn October 9, 2025

It's easy to use, and applying it states use on your shoes but spray it outside. So I tried that and to be honest, it didn't do so well on scretching my shoes. I have another spray that works better than this one. I've tried on different kind of material shoes and not much luck. It didn't work for my leather sneakers, fabric slip on or my black patent leather shoes. So I say, no, not worth it.
