Forester Chainsaw Chaps, Safety Green, Lightweight, Water Resistant, Multiple Sizes

Seems to be of comparable quality to brand name chaps like Stihl. I have a thirty inch in seem and the regular size fits perfectly. The top has snaps so you can fold it over and shorten it by about two inches if necessary.

I frequently use a chainsaw and did not want to wear chaps used by someone else so I bought a pair for me only. They fit well and have plenty of layers to protect me. Even if you use a chainsaw on occasion, be safe and protect yourself with chaps %26 a helmet.

Very much needed safety gear, have needed for years and after a close call, decided to purchase. Easy to put on with quick adjusting straps. Feel much better working alone in the woods now. Thank you! !

These chaps worked well for protection while weed eating. They appear to be good quality. They are easy on and off, with push together fasteners. I would recommend them for weed eating, might not be rugged enough for chain sawing.

I am thrilled with the fit, the length in particular and impressed with the adjustment possibilities for different length needs. I am 5' 8" with a 30 inch inseam so I got short. It covers from waist to just touching the workboots. The fit around legs is better than my older, more expensive pair also. My old pair has some cuts, scrapes and oil stains so it was time to replace. I am glad I went with this Forester Chap. The orange is brighter too, just in case during hunting season and I am out in the woods. It has a nice little pocket which my old one did not too. Based on this and how well it seems made I trust it will protect me if ever the need arose when using my saw.

The buckle needs a much better grip on the waist strap. I can feel it slipping a tick at a time as I walk around. Several ticks if I bend over. I improved the grip by changing the way the strap runs through the buckle. Now it hold the strap but it's hard to adjust. These would be 5 stars for the price if not for the strap/buckle issue. Other than that, they fit fine and are comfortable. I can't even feel the kittens trying to shred my legs.

I'm 6'2 and normally buy 32 x 34 pants. Website gives no indication of size choices, it just says '35" length'. Bag arrives, it says in big letters SHORT LENGTH and shows a Size Chart showing Regular and Long size choices. So the website is either fake ads or bad faith or aren't you slick for tricking me. that is the feeling. i'll probably keep them since i'm not a real logger. 2c.
