I was looking for a new range for a long time and did quite a bit of research. This is a very good looking range. It arrived very well packaged, and I unpacked it myself with little drama. I also performed the hook up, also with little drama. The range worked out of the box with a few adjustments. The center burner hob was mis-rotated but that was an easy fix and burner works fabulously well. People complained about the corner burners (especially the rear low power burners) as not having much range into low. This is true BUT if you read the manual you can trim them to a very low setting, which I did with all four. A tool is supplied for this purpose. The oven works as advertised and yes, it will require a learning curve - I have no issue with that and can adapt to the idiosyncrasies. In general I appreciate the analog temperature gauge and it seems to be accurate enough. Having to do a re-start to low the temperature is not a show-stopper. The lights work well. I appreciate Forno supplying a wok ring, griddle and air fryer basket/drip pan. That's a great addition to the package. All being said I'm very satisfied with this good-looking range.
So far I would rate this oven 5 stars based on aesthetic, features, and ease of installation. As for operation and functionality, I am not sure as I just purchased it and the review is required in order to register the product for the warranty. I love the industrial look of this oven and the simplicity. The lack of a display lends to the overall utilitarian aesthetic which I love. The oven came with an air fry basket, broiler pan, and a reversible griddle. All are very high quality. The range grates are heavy and superb quality! I also like that it came with a wok rack. The oven seemed to have reached the desired temperature in no time though I am not sure if the temperature gauge is supposed to read around 60 F when off. The burners on the range are strong and I can't wait to start cooking!
We wanted this as part of our kitchen reconstruction project and all I can say is wow! It's very nice looking and seems to be well made. I can't wait to cook on this when its installed. I will update.
so far so good — sat in the living room for two months before kitchen remodel was done- it's installed and works - oven temp is spot on - cant wait to cook!
We were a little skeptical about buying this gas range due to the reviews on the burners and oven burner we have used it several times and had no issues whatsoever. The burners will go all the way low if you want them to and the oven has not went out one time. One of the best ranges we have ever owned and would definitely buy another so people pay no attention to the bad reviews
I like the power of the burners and the way the oven broil burner is set up. The flaw that I see is that in order to lower the temperature of the oven I have to shut it off and start it again at the lower temp. As far as the service is concern they are incredible. Very fast response, very professional and I got the part within 3 days.
The burners blaze outside the perimeter of my pots when turned on high, so it seems the heat is escaping; therefore, I always have to cook on a lower temp or get a bigger pot. The oven is VERY difficult to adjust to normal recipes, and the calibration is off. I have to set it at 450 to get my thermometer to read 375.
I like the stove. The 5 burners are great, especially like the center burner with the wok attachment and the griddle. Used electric for many years, glad to get back to gas, but have to get used to it. The only problem is the oven won't hold a set temperature. I set it to 300, 350, 250, doesn't matter it is eventually over 400 degrees. Might take longer set at 250, but it still gets there. I have tried to report the problem several times over the month or two and so far have received no response. So, if you want a really great stove you can try this one unless you also want great service. Then I would try something else, maybe a Kenmore.
The product works well for its basic functions and has a clean, simple design. It heats up reliably and seems well-built. However, it lacks some of the features I expected, such as a clock, alert when the desired temperature is reached, or other smart indicators. It's a good option if you're looking for a straightforward, no-frills model, but those wanting more advanced controls might prefer an upgraded version. Overall, I'm satisfied with the performance so far.
The oven does not keep a steady temp and the temp gauge is subject to being 25-50 degrees off . Not getting much support from the manufacturer.
