This timer works great. I like the button that you can push to turn it on if you don't have the remote close by.

bought this for my hanging patio lights. love that it has remote.
I love these I'm a paraplegic and use one for a fan I have blowing on me and another so the extension cord and charger I use for my Chromebook and Phone isn't hot 24/7. Well built I don't see any reason why it wouldn't last long and work great outside. Especially if you have Party or Christmas lights up so you can just turn them on and off with the click of a button or use the timer if you want. I honestly have 2 one without a timer and one with and they both work great, of course if you're not going to use the timer the one without has less inside that can go bad. I bought extra remote batteries online somewhere but didn't have any problems finding them and they're cheap. The remote on the one without a timer battery cover seemed a little lose and I was scared it would fall off and get lost so I just folded a piece of paper up between it and the battery putting more pressure on it and it's worked great for over a year using it multiple times a day.
item works as described. we use it for our Christmas lights. on at dusk, then we set it to turn off 4 hours later. works perfectly every night. we love it.

I like that you can set a timer or just use the remote to turn it on and off with the remote. It all has a sensor setting.
Works great. I especially like the dusk to dawn feature and the remote. Easy to set up to control the outdoor lighting. Great value.
Could not plug into the device. I spread the contacts inside open so that an extension cord plug could be inserted.
