I learned to appreciate "organ foods" years ago. It is not for snacks or daily consumption, but it can be very healthy. I boil straight from the package, cool, dice and store in the fridge. Use in salads, stews, beans, rice dishes, whatever! Mix with hamburger meat / turkey burger, in cornbread, scrambled eggs, or with veggies. Very versatile! For what it's worth, here's a tip for pet owners... 27 years experience with adding cooked organ meats to my Boxers meals. A few tablespoons in their food 2-4 times a week (a little goes a long way). They love it! I always home cooked for them, so there's that too. 13 years of health for my first. My second lived 14 years on the same type diet!

I eat lots of chicken and the gizzards are really good tasting, Best is boil them until tender then bread them and pan fry . Walmart has great tasting gizzards. They deliver to my door at zero cast, just a 10% charge for delivery person. They will even bring groceries inside the door, as in 40 pound water bottles.

Ok, get grossed-out if you want, but I've been eating these for years. I dare you, give 'em a try (lightly brown them, add flour, water and chicken bullion and any other herbs or spices to make a gravy and have them over noodles).

dog treats are too expensive. this is so much more affordable and after cooking it, stays fresh for a few days in the fridge. add a little to your pups meal. they will thank you for it!

i purchase this for home cooking my dog's food. Sometimes it doesn't look very fresh. I think second best qualities are given to pick-up orders and that applies to the vegetables and bagged salads too.

I have been purchasing this product of hearts %26 gizzards for several months now. It started out with a blend of 50-50 but know it is all gizzards. How can you label something hearts %26 gizzards and then send only gizzards? And if you are weak in stomach do not read any further! This package contained a chicken head with eye and beak. I will never ever purchase this again!!! I am done with this company!!
