The Alien Vision Blaster Challenge is really fun and my child enjoyed playing with it. It was very easy to set up and it works great. The goggles fit comfortably as well as the wrist blaster. Great toy and very entertaining.
These are amazing, you can actually see the Alien and ain't to it. Great toy for anyone actually. This is really fun. Perfect for a birthday or Christmas gift.
So much fun! My 5-year-old is obsessed with this! It was very easy to assemble and put together. It's super easy for a child to use. The buttons to activate different “games” to shoot aliens is on too. The wrist band works great and shoots on point. The sound effects are cute. And the head and wrist bands can fit an adult!
This alien vision blaster challenge is so much fun! Kids will love zapping aliens all around their home! The goggles are so cool looking easy to put together. You do have to buy three AAA batteries that are not included and you need a tiny screwdriver. This is a lot of fun and it's really cool. Ages five and up and it's only for one player.
This is so much fun right out the box. It was so easy to start using, just put the batteries in and let the fun begin. The graphics are crisp and the sound is clear. His vision is mot obstructed and the wrist piece is lightweight. This is a lot of fun. Suitable for my son and husband! Great use of my child's free time. I would recommend it.
This definitely won't keep an older kid entertained for long, so I'd say the best age range for this is 5-8, maybe up to 9. It's simple fun and entertaining, but it's the same thing. You have a holographic alien that shows up in your goggles (with audio) and you point your wrist up in your sight and push the button to shoot the aliens. You can hear them yell out when they've been hit, and they disappear from sight until they reappear again. The goal is to hit as many as you can, so it does require some accuracy. Both the goggles and wrist blaster need a few AAA batteries, as well as a tiny screwdriver to access, so be sure to have those on hand. As simple as it is, it's definitely pretty fun, and it's great that it works in the dark (where it's best used)! I had fun with it, myself, even as an adult, but only for about 5 minutes. It's definitely perfect for ages 5+ but probably not more than 10 or so. They'll have a blast, literally!
My child enjoyed the gameplay, but the head strap is a source of a lot of frustration. The eyepiece is inflexible, meaning it must be pulled painfully tight across the nose to stay on. A three-point headband would have been a better design.
Conceptually a really good product but execution wise may have room for improvement. The product comes with a hand shooter and the goggles themselves. The rubber portion of the goggles easily installs onto the main goggles by snaking 4 screws into place. The goggles require three AAA batteries and the hand piece also requires 3 batteries. Batteries not included with the goggles. The headpiece is very difficult to secure on my child's head. Instead of a plastic piece with multiple notches for size, elastic may be better. Note that the headpiece doesn't fit an adult head. There are four levels of difficulty (how quickly the aliens appear) and the aliens are shined in front of the goggles with different projectors that shine right in front of the main goggle lens. My six year old had some fun for a few minutes but after a while got tired of it pretty quickly. Would be more fun to compete with other people or to make it easier to adjust headset size so different kids can play with it and take turns.
I bought this as a gift! When I got it in, the packaging for the toy looked like it was chewed on and thrown across the room, then taped back together. I tried to get a replacement but this item is not eligible for returns or exchanges. I open it up to see if the toy works because it is definitely questionable at this point and see that the googles have a scratch on it. So, after calling Walmart Customer Service, I am now stuck with a used toy in a broken up box that I cant exchange or return! I'll be shopping on Amazon from now on where there is quality control and returns allowed for 3rd party sellers! Shame on the person who thought it was okay to ship this to make a dollar! 😡
followed the directions did Everything we were suppose to do. Made sure the batteries were good and everything didnt work. Got a replacement samething. my son was disappointed in it not working. Dont waste your money. Only 1 star cause I had to leave a star to leave a review.
