The usual leads work very well. The ability to change the lead out to other colors was one of the reasons I had purchased this kit. You have to apply a lot of pressure to make the colored leads appear on paper since they break easily. They were disposed of in the garbage. Learning experience gained.

The lead on the pencil was excellent. The colored lead was terrible. Although I thought the colored lead was a neat touch, I did not obtain the lead. Thus, I'm not upset that it wasn't good. Don't, however, if you are purchasing it for the colorful lead.

I just began using these, and either I have a heavy hand or they shatter a bit too easily. They are larger than I had anticipated, which is always a positive, and I feel like I'll be set for quite some time. Apart from that, however, I really like them, and given the price, I would definitely buy them again.

As a technical writer, I like working with mechanical pencils for work-related tasks like composing letters and any other situation when a pen isn't required. For years, I have had trouble finding a good lead that holds up well while I write. And the number is just as valuable as the quality—THIS IS THE ONE. Will repurchase when necessary. Wonderful!

The HB 0.5mm is what I ordered. Though it functions well, it seems softer than Pentel. That was a huge bonus since it's much less expensive than other brands. The colorful lead that was included is flimsy and broke no matter how long I attempted to use it. If the colored lead had not been included, I would have rated it five stars.

The cases were much larger than I had anticipated, and the quantity was ideal for me since when I get lost in my drawings, I sometimes push the tips too hard and shatter them. Although this particular colored lead is weak, all colored lead is. However, the purchase is definitely worthwhile!

I've never used 'bulk lead,' but I've been sketching more recently, so I thought I'd give it a go. Turns out, it works rather well! breaks much less often than the major brands. Erases efficiently. Very good. Definitely, I will purchase this again and again. GET IT!

Fantastic product. The children like the colors, and I've been using for a month without any problems or incessant breaks as with some other products I've tried.
