I used this to strain pears for jelly. It worked great and was much quicker then cheese cloth.

I purchased it to make a farmer cheese and it works very well. Actually I found what I wanted. The mesh is of the desire size and the liquid flows out completely and fairy quickly. The consistency if the farmer cheese is what is needed to be.

the item is made well and great quality. the problem I had is with the metal rack itself. It is so tall that all the juice splashes everywhere. I think if the rack was a little shorter it would minimize the splashing.
