FOXWELL NT809 Car Diagnostic Scan Tool OBD2 Scanner Bi-Directional & Active Test Full System Code Reader with 30+ Maintenances 3-Year Update

Could have been a really great tester, but needs a much better instructions book. Foxwell videos are too old and of wrong unit. Not for pre 2000 Chrysler/Dodge. May need adapters $250 kit not now available. BADLY Needs better instructions. Update went well, Uses ES Filemanager which had past adware problems, works fine for me. Need wifi and account with Foxwell. Foxwell does not provide support;" you did not buy from us". Use of USB -2 or C for external O'Scope or data Xfer is trial%26err. Needs 2A cell phone charger. 32GB SSD used 61% out of the box. Updates needed to Foxscan, Common Text,VCI Firmware, EOBD. Uses Outlook V4, Youtube, Google, Facebook. ES file Explorer opens access to the Android OS to use the tablet as a regular internet computer. WiFi 2 used here at home. ES File Explorer Help Manual V3 is in the ROM/RAM.

The port on top that you plug the cable into was missing. Had a plastic piece glued over an empty hole. Unbelievable!!! Will definitely be returning and buying a different brand

Perfectly described by manufacturer, works perfectly after receiving regular software updates through wifi. I prefer this wired, cable port version because I do not have to be worries about bluetooth irking failures; no bluetooth drops or troubleshooting.

Although it states it's bi-directional, it is not. What is the point in purchasing the scanner if it cannot give direction to the vehicle computer. No matter what I tried, I continued to receive cannot communicate.

Easy to use with numerous excellent great features. Does everything I advertises and much more.

Excellent quality, used it on my brakes. This model is not wireless, when connecting to your car.

Its constanly dropping wi fi . The smart vin feature is not user friendly with Honda.

Great diagnostic tool for DIY auto repair. Bi-directional functions invaluable for locating engine and transmission issues.

I actually bought it for a Christmas gift so I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but I have pulled it out of the box and plugged it up. Everything looks great on it as far as working.

It did not work when I opend the box and went to turn it on and it would not turn on. I tried to charge it and it will not charge. I do not recommend this product.
