Fozlock Outdoor Hose Bibb Faucet Lock and Insulator, Green

This device is exactly what I was looking for. It fits over my hose faucet perfectly. The device is easy to remove when you want to use your hose and easy to reinstall when you are done.

It serves 2 purposes, it protects during the winter from freezing and it keeps the facet secure from malicious activity

Very difficult to get on a new style spigot; forced to use the same vice-grips we use on automobile oil filters to make it work. VERY secure if one is able to successfully get it into place.

I had someone in neighborhood turn on outside spigot and leave it on. I do not have anything inside to shut off water. This lock was the only thing I could find. I can't get handle off so I put lock on over it. It is too small, it barely fits but does lock with a flexible padlock. I left it on there so if someone saw the lock it would deter them (hopefully) from turning on water but actually all anyone has to do is turn the lock and the water comes on.

It was too small. Went to Homedepot and got the bibb lock with key. It works perfectly

Call the company before you buy. Get the return information you will most likely need. If possible, send the company a photo of your spigot. Unless your spigot set up looks exactly like the one in their drawing, don't bother. Contrary to the information on line, you will need a tool as you need to remove the handle, the part that turns the water on and off, for installation. Do not buy this through any other source other than the company because you cannot return it to the store. Be sure to call first and speak to a human as they do not respond to messages left on their system and Walmart is unable to assist. Buyer beware if you choose to buy this without being proactive.
