Quality product
Smooth! The first time I turned the handle I thought something was wrong. The reel wasn't turning. Actually it was but was so smooth that if I didn't look closely it appeared as though it wasn't. The free spooling feature is also so smooth that it'll take a little practice to keep from running out too much line. There doesn't seem to be any friction on the spool at all. The star drag isn't as smooth as I'd like, but will work satisfactorily enough. Anti-reverse is instant which is especially nice when it's time to pack up and head off the ice. Line stays tight immediately. Clicker works fine and is loud enough. Good quality reel at a reasonable price.
