I already have a set of these in another color so I was familiar with how they look. I didn't use these for window curtains; instead I am using them on the metal shelving units in my room. I have a lot of things on the shelves so having these covers it up and makes everything look neater, more colorful and also helps cut down on dust. I used small metal clips with hooks on them to hang them. The semi sheer material is just opaque enough that you can't see much through them. The material is nice because it doesn't wrinkle as easily as most sheer to semi sheer cutains do, so they look nice and neat. They add a touch of color, too.

the curtains filter the light beautifully. the flowers include many shades of blue, some more indigo, some more turquoise. I highly recommend them. they hang nicely and are not too floppy, not too stiff.

The colors on the curtains are great - subtle purple and orange colors - and they let in light to the room while still creating privacy. Good price for two. The material is a little thin though and I am not sure if it will hold up through several washings. I think I'll put them in a laundry bag to protect the material.
