Always happy with Fram
I've always been very happy with the Fram line of oil filters. I purchased this one because it is specified for high mileage and my 1999 Chevy Silverado has over 250,000 miles on it. The fit was perfect. The filter installed very easily. I just smeared a little oil on the gasket and screwed it on. I would recommend the Fram line of oil filters to any DIYer looking for a quality product for their ride.

It's capacity isn't as good as a Purple brand I use and I don't think it filters as fine as particulates but the Purple brand was out of stock great second choice 👍

GUNK FILTER
GOOD FOR MY TRUCKTHAT HAS OVER 200,000 MILES AND ENGINE IS GUNKED UP REAL BAD. THE FILTER SEEMS TO HELP LOOSEN UP REMOVE AND THE GUNK

Very good filters
I have used frame filters ever since I started driving and changing oil. I have used them in all kinds of vehicles, including lawnmowers that I have never had any trouble.

fits my 2003 GMC Sierra truck
Like that, it has that grip tape around the filter on the bottom, which makes it easy to remove and tighten by hand. what i didn't lime about the filter is that it didn't come sealed with a plastic around it to keep dust out overall good quality.
