FRAM Ultra Premium 40,000 Mile Air Filter, 10989 for Select GM Vehicles

This was a premium air filters. I was generally happy with the filter, but the filter it replaced was a genuine GM filter that had a pre filter attached to it that was missing on the FRAM. I would have expected the FRAM to be as good or better since it was a premium filter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received the FRAM Air Filter for my Kia Sorento and what a breeze it was to replace in my car. I checked over the the filter closely to make sure that the filter was, in fact, the correct filter for my car, that it didn't have any defects or broken in any way. This filter fits perfectly in the car without any issues, literally anyone can do it. The filter is sturdy, solid and well made with not flaws or issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As stated above, this Fram filter (for my 2015 Ford Flex) is super nice and was very well made. You can tell that it is high quality by looking at it and comparing to the one I took out (FoMoCo brand) to replace with with the Fram. There's a metal mesh plate on the back of the Fram that looks like it's going to help extend its life and function.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was time to once again change our air filter. The previous filter was already a fram air filter and has served us well. The new air filter is the frame ultra and had an extra layer of protection for cleaning the air going in to the engine. It has a sturdy wire mesh to keep it secure and in good shape. My husband said it was easy to install, and replace. The gasket around the filter provided a good seal all the way around with out letting any air to get by without going through the filter. You could tell a good difference in better performance with the new filter. I would recommend this filter to anyone needing to change.

great product. I did notice a good difference in proformance. Was not aware that the engine fliter needs to be changed, thought it was changed with my oil changes 😞, was i so wrong. The old filter was dirty it literally had dirt on it.

While I'm no mechanic and can't immediately tell the difference, it's nice knowing that I have an top notch quality air filter. The increased lifespan of these filters are helping the longevity of my engine. Would recommend. Fit my Lexus GX470, which is essentially a Tundra 4.7L V8.
