You won't be disappointed
I had one of these many years ago and must have given it away since I haven't done counted cross stitch for 20 years. I was so happy to find this frame again. It's easy to put together and well made. Keeps my fabric nice and taut for stitching. Being able to sit on the bottom part makes it so easy to use. Would highly recommend.

It Goes Together Perfectly
Easy to put together. Yes, the screws have a square underneath the head, but it plays no part in securing or putting together this item. Just place in the holes and tighten to butterfly, and all goes together nicely.

I was really having a lot of pain in my hand from holding my crosstitch frame and when I saw this one I had to order it!!! It's great!!! I dont have to support a heavy project and frame with one hand anymore!!! No more pain!!! I highly recommend it!!!

Nice frame but….you need to be thin to use it
It's a nice frame. Seems sturdy. Easy to put together. Wood wasn't as smooth or sanded as I would like. Maybe potential for splinters at some point? Unfortunately because I'm not a thin person it won't work for me. It was too tight around my stomach and chest. I'm disappointed I'll have to return it. Otherwise I would have liked to have used it. Seems like it would be nice to stitch on.

Good buy
My only complaint so far is that the width of fabric you can use is 16 inches. The project I want to do is 16 inches wide so I have no room for a border.

Needs work before it can be used.
The wood is not sealed or completely sanded. It's almost sanded enough, although some of the holes and edges need more. It is not sealed in any way. Before use I will need to finish sanding, clean and seal. Not what I was expecting. I think it will work as it should once I finish it.

Impossible to assemble-upright to seat board.
The upright won't attach to the seat board. It's not a screw in. It has threads a short ways but four sharp points extend down to block everything. I tried hammering it so the points would embed in the would. Nope. Total trash. I'll be returning it to my local store.

I am not happy. I ordered a frame 16 x 12. the one I received is 16 x 9 x 12. it will not work for my Japenese Garden. I want to return the frame.
