Franklin Sports 3-Disc Frisbee Golf Set

These fit nicely in the back of the car. With an extra 20 minutes to kill in town, the kids are happily zinging their discs across the park. Great price for an intro/starter set. We got exactly what is pictured. They aren't sparkly and jazzy... but they do the trick.

This is my first disc golf set and so far it's great. Also can't speak much to the quality since I can't compare to others, but I can say using these are much better than plastic frisbees since they're denser and therefore less wind resistant. Obviously, they won't be impervious to winds, so it's better to play on a nicer day with lower winds. For 10 bucks, this certainly worth the value.

We got this set as beginners to frisbee golf, and it works great. Don't think you can beat the price, and we've thoroughly enjoyed tossing 'em.

Haven't been able to use these much yet (due to weather and a blown up knee), I have no frame of reference as these are the only one's I've ever thrown, used to be great at throwing Frisbee's, but that was many years ago and a bigger disc by far. They seem to be o.k. for getting started anyway for cheap.

So I have to admit that I got this product on a whim. I had never heard of disc golf but the idea of a Frisbee-like game where you try to hit a specific distance target was very intriguing. According to Wikipedia, it's played in over 40 countries. Anyways, the disc themselves seem to do the job. The game itself is quite brutal on the discs and mine have held up with some wear and tear from hitting cement, rocks, etc. Great for a beginner like me! I bought these for the merchandise sale at my office. Not the best discs (i sure wouldn't throw them) But a great cheap set to get a beginner going. I never knew you can play golf with a frisbee set. But it's fun to try with this set. My kids also just use the frisbees to throw around with their friends. This is something I wanted so that we can a chance at family time without computers or phones. Now that the weather is getting better, we are encouraged to go to the park and through the frisbees around to enjoy the sunshine. This is a VERY affordable starter set for a disc golf beginner. All the discs are about the same weight and shape, with the "driver" and "mid-range" appear to be exactly the same except for the color.

I fully expect to shatter the driver and mid range discs soon. After 3 days of use they are already chipped, and tattered. But, they provided me with a GREAT introduction to disc golf and showed me precisely what to look out for when I'm ready to buy a quality set.

We bought these for a family member after playing with someone else's discs and having a good time. These discs are garbage! The driver and mid-range discs will not go straight at all. They go left or right or do a full barrel roll. You just have to hope they hit the ground and roll forward some more. The putter is okay, but the are not worth the $10 you will pay. I would have been very discouraged with disc golf had I not used some decent ones before buying these.
