Franklin Sports MLB Electronic Adjustable Baseball Pitching Machine with 6 Balls

I purchased this. Item for my grandkids, and they really enjoy playing with it.Having the ball pitch to them, practice batting. As they just started to play baseball , we'll need to get a bigger one where I can adjust the pitching speed, but for a beginner, it is perfect.

My daughter is 10 and she thinks batting practice is a blast now. Even friends and family gatherings thought great fun. Has helped greatly with her hitting hand eye coordination for 10U. Battery powered very convenient. Whiffle ball so we use in back yard. If you move it closer to batter, the ball is faster across the plate so she gets some practice with faster pitches that way. You get 6 whiffle balls and we already had one that fits fine in the machine, and I am going to buy 3 more because I think the ball holder will hold 9 or 10 so may as well fill up the auto loader to the top. On sale $20 can't beat it for outdoor family fun!

this is actually nicer than i expected. It shoots out about 20 feet with enough force that it's actually batting practice. my son is in the 8U ball and it was perfect for him. I even hit a couple off of it and was very impressed. Highly recommend, especially for younger kids.

This product is great; my nephew started playing baseball, and this really helps him be more effective with his swings. I love it!

Very easy to set up, takes 4 D batteries and works very well! We love it %26 it doesn't pitch the same every time and you can point it up in the middle or ground balls. Overall great product! 10/10 my son says and he's 7

I'm giving the Franklin Sports MLB Electronic Baseball Pitching Machine 4 stars overall. You definitely get what you pay for—it's very affordable and does work well for practice. It's great for beginners or kids learning to hit and helps build consistency. The only downside is that it needs frequent adjustments to keep up with changes in pitch, which can be a little inconvenient during use. That said, for the price, it's still a solid value and worth the money if you're looking for a budget-friendly pitching machine.

Good beginner pitching machine. It doesn't always pitch correctly or far enough, but when it does, it's fun. It stops after 5 or 6 balls, but that works because we will go pick up the ones we have hit and reload them. My 10 year old enjoys it, and it's fun for the adults too. Now looking for a stronger model, it definitely taught my son the concept so I would recommend for a beginner machine.

Very inconsistent! Don’t let the wind blow at all. The timing is okay at best. Sometimes the ball went in front of us, sometimes it went behind us. Some were high and some were low. We are better off throwing the ball ourselves to one another. Very disappointed.

purchased this electric pitching machine to help my 8-year-old practice her batting while I work in the garden, but it is unfortunately not reliable for hitting. I knew about the accuracy issues from other reviews, but decided to try it anyway for the price. The machine is incredibly inconsistent. There is simply no telling where the next ball will go—some fly way up in the air, others shoot straight into the ground, and it rarely throws to the same spot twice. Because the distance and accuracy vary so wildly, my daughter cannot stand in a standard batting stance and get consistent pitches. Additionally, the machine is very fast and will leave a mark if you stand too close. Because it throws much faster than her coach-pitch softball league, it actually messed up her timing on the field. She started swinging way too early during games because she was used to this machine's speed. However, it does work well as a tool for catching practice because the erratic pitches force her to move and react. It comes with a few baseball-sized plastic balls, which I actually like. Training with these smaller balls tricks her eyes so that a standard softball looks much larger and easier to hit when she is on the field. Overall, it is an okay product for fielding and reaction drills, but I cannot recommend it for batting practice.

I order and quickly recieved the ball launcher. It didn't work, lights came on but nothing else. Since I had paid for the buyer protection and a replacement was quickly replaced, It was then I realized that I would have to drive 2 hours in order to drop the broken device at one of the few Fedex return centers. I had many much closer and convenient Fedex location but those did not accept these returns. I did return both the broken one and replacement to a walmart store and recieved a refund for both which was great. Yet I keep getting automated messages to return the items. I am a big NO on the buyer protection program. Walmart employees have been very professional I have a great deal of respect for they work they do.
