The paddle has a good rate of bounce off the face, which makes it superior to the all wooden paddles.

This paddle seems of good quality, but when purchasing it online, there was no way to tell the weight of the paddle or the size of the grip. This would be very helpful when deciding to purchase.

I was introduced to the game last year for the first time but didn't really pick it up until a few months ago, so I don't have a lot of experience with different varieties of paddles, but I did buy the aluminum version of this paddle and I have to say I like the graphite style better. It feels more balanced. The aluminum is thinner and performs very similar to this graphite but it seems to be more top-heavy, even though it weighs about the same. I'm assuming that this gives you the extra power I read about in other articles. The rounded edge protector makes it harder to control the ball if it happens to hit there. Neither of those points is particularly bad for the aluminum version you just have to get used to it. For a beginner, I felt it was easier to get in a rhythm and have longer rallies with the graphite paddle.

Lightweight and easy to grip, great for a beginner to the game. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, so I chose this model over more expensive ones until I am more proficient and can tell a difference.

Paddle was a little heavier than other graphite paddles. But for graphite, the price was great - very reasonable! Good Beginner paddle and inexpensive!

It's what I expected at that price point

Paddle seems fine for recreational play. Handle tape unraveled during the 2nd day of play. Affordable paddle that most players are ok with. Needed to re tape grip almost immediately

Handle broke after first use. Has a decent pop for the price but it fails in reliability.

honestly this paddle stinks, even for the price it stinks. I am a very experienced pickleball player and i bought 4 of these to leave at my lake house for guests and these paddles could not be worse. They are extremely heavy with a lot of weight distributed towards the bottom of the paddle, the sound is absolutely terrible and it is nearly impossible to make solid contact or get spin. If you know anything about pickleball my rating is a 4.5 so I am not just making stuff up this paddle is seriously terrible you would be better off playing with some random wooden paddle that came with a portable net. If you're looking for a beginner paddle get the Rally Flare for like $50 or the Joola beginner paddle which is a little more. This is a definite do not purchase.
