I bought them for my kids, they love them. Great value to buy, and it brings a lot of fun to us. So far I don't have any problems with them. They are decent quality balls for recreational use only. Good bounce and we never run out of balls. I have purchased more expensive Table Tennis balls and I could not tell the difference. Especially for non-professional players. I received this product at a discounted price in return for my unbiased review.
Needed extra ping pong balls for regular play at home. They're official regulation balls – 40mm vs the old 38mm size (pre-2000 regulation) and 2.7 grams. They're regular plastic ball, great for playing. You can always use more balls so that you don't have to always shag them. These are one star balls. That means they're not authorized for quality, size and weight by the International Table Tennis Federation even though they're the official size, weight and color. One star balls are one step higher than practice balls, and are made of a softer plastic which are susceptible to breaking when hit hard. Still, good enough quality for me for at home use. I received this product at a discounted price in return for my unbiased review.
For a 1 star configuration, these balls were great. I noticed that they were standard regulation 40mm balls. The look and feel were great. The 18 pack works great for practice as I can practice on my serves and spin regularly. I would highly recommend starting with these before moving to 2/3 star.
