I have tried so many different gluten-free breads over the last four years and I saw someone post about this I think in a Facebook group and it is to die for I have found finally my new gluten-free bread!!!The slices are really big which I don't love, but I just cut them in half and then put the other half back but I've had an Italian sandwich so far and a grilled cheese and it is the best bread you cannot even tell it's gluten-free but I always toast my bread so I actually haven't had it without it being toasted, I will have to try that next, but this bread is amazing!!
I saw all the good reviews that said this tastes just like regular bread, and I was like “no way, impossible”. I've had so much dry, crumbly, flavorless gluten-free bread. But man, this really tastes like regular bread! 😭 I wouldn't eat it straight out of the bag; I personally find that all gluten-free bread should be judged after toasting it a little. But it has a great flavor, it doesn't fall apart super easy, and it looks and tastes just like normal bread to me. One thing I will note is that it's pretty chewy in the center, which I didn't mind, but if you toast it enough that goes away. I will also note that this definitely isn't soft and fluffy like brioche lol. But it is the best gluten free bread I've had. I highly recommend!
This is the best gluten free bread I have ever had. It doesn't have the usual odd texture that a lot of GF breads have and it holds together (not crumbly) and is moist! It has a great flavor and no odd after taste! I just wish it was a larger package.
A friend who has celiac disease recommended this to me as her favorite gluten free bread brand, and it does not disappoint. Made a great bruschetta for a party using this brioche bread, toasted with olive oil and added garlic. Crunchy and delicious! Will buy again! Long slices, so I often cut one in half and make a smaller sandwich from one slice.
Since having to go gluten free two years after being diagnosed with celiac disease, my mom has CRAVED good bread. She's tried so many and was disappointed by them all until we found Franz. I'd say it's as close to regular bread as possible. It isn't a weird texture, it doesn't crumble apart, and it toasts up so crunchy! I wish it wasn't so pricey, but I'm going to keep on buying it for sure!
Picked up some curbside and got home to find mold on it. Go to Walmart to get another one and it had mold on it. It wasn't past the date but when I brought it to Walmart's attention they could not care less. The thing is, the bread itself is great but I think it might be time to move to n from Walmart and their Plus program simply due to their I don't care attitude
I purchased this bread and even though it was 2 weeks before the expiration date on the bag, it was already moldy. It's a shame because the taste and texture was wonderful. Except mold is poisonous.

I'm finally giving up on this bread. The frequency at which it is moldy upon opening is just ridiculous. When it's not moldy, it's my favorite gluten free bread. It didn't used to be so bad, but now it seems to be moldy more often than not, even with an expiration date a month out. At this point I am genuinely annoyed at how much money I've wasted buying these just to throw them away.
I placed a order for this bread and this is now the second loaf that had molded on me before I ever had a chance to even open it. Still in original bag and sealed airtight bag and full.of mold. And this bread isn't cheap so very disappointed in the brand now.
