Franz Gluten Free Brioche Deli Style Bread, 14 oz

I have tried so many different gluten-free breads over the last four years and I saw someone post about this I think in a Facebook group and it is to die for I have found finally my new gluten-free bread!!!The slices are really big which I don't love, but I just cut them in half and then put the other half back but I've had an Italian sandwich so far and a grilled cheese and it is the best bread you cannot even tell it's gluten-free but I always toast my bread so I actually haven't had it without it being toasted, I will have to try that next, but this bread is amazing!!

I saw all the good reviews that said this tastes just like regular bread, and I was like “no way, impossible”. I've had so much dry, crumbly, flavorless gluten-free bread. But man, this really tastes like regular bread! 😭 I wouldn't eat it straight out of the bag; I personally find that all gluten-free bread should be judged after toasting it a little. But it has a great flavor, it doesn't fall apart super easy, and it looks and tastes just like normal bread to me. One thing I will note is that it's pretty chewy in the center, which I didn't mind, but if you toast it enough that goes away. I will also note that this definitely isn't soft and fluffy like brioche lol. But it is the best gluten free bread I've had. I highly recommend!

This is the best gluten free bread I have ever had. It doesn't have the usual odd texture that a lot of GF breads have and it holds together (not crumbly) and is moist! It has a great flavor and no odd after taste! I just wish it was a larger package.

I've been gfree for many years and I ordered this by mistake. I thought I was ordering bagels, but this is the BEST mistake I've made in years, OMG ❤️❤️❤️❤️!!!!! I have been carb loading, EVER since receiving the bread. I've been so ridiculous with it, that I'm eating plain bread. I'm not adding anything to it or toasting it to make it "tolerable". I'm ordering more so that I don't run out😂😂.

This is as close as you get to wheat bread - you can actually make a sandwhich without toasting. I'm a little put out with Walmart in they ran out of stock the first week it was offered but hopefully they will notice and order enough to keep in stock. This bread is whyi I'm now shopping at Walmart. I'v e been Gluten Free for over 20 years so I know what I'm talking about.

I can't eat anything with gluten. Gluten free products tend to be dry and crumbly. They don't always have the best flavor or texture. Franz brioche bread is tasty, moist and chewy. I won't buy bread anymore, if I can't find Franz brioche. Best product.

There are lots of holes and therefore not good for holding in your sandwich fixings. Like most gluten free bread it has little taste, and texture is not like real bread. The one way it is better than most gluten free bread is that it did not fall apart as fast. It was okay for holding lunchmeat, but I did not enjoy it enough to get it again. I have only found one good gluten free bread and that is Sam's bread from Wal-mart, but only the far away Walmart sells it. (and Sam's club doesn't even have it, even though it has their name is on it). All gluten free bread should be like that for the high price it costs. This bread did not even come close to Sam's bread and it is certainly not like real bread. Sam's bread is the only soft, non-stale gluten free bread I have ever eaten.

I purchased this bread and even though it was 2 weeks before the expiration date on the bag, it was already moldy. It's a shame because the taste and texture was wonderful. Except mold is poisonous.

I'm finally giving up on this bread. The frequency at which it is moldy upon opening is just ridiculous. When it's not moldy, it's my favorite gluten free bread. It didn't used to be so bad, but now it seems to be moldy more often than not, even with an expiration date a month out. At this point I am genuinely annoyed at how much money I've wasted buying these just to throw them away.
